Dec 3-7: 2nd Test: Australia v England at the Adelaide Oval

I can't believe this. 3-3 for Australia. What a response from England. Maybe the players were mad they lost the World Cup and directed the anger towards the Australian batsmen?

The good thing is that this really increases the chance of a result in this match.

Only problem being that Aus lost the WC as well.

culmination of the last 2 years of the CAs lesson in how not to organise a transitional period.

Damn right. The attack for this series was meant to be Johnson, Hilf and Hauritz.

Looks like a good pitch produced not the road that many expected. Strauss was right at the toss and very lucky to lose it now.

Yeah, but many people thought England had a great chance. I now see that Australia got eliminated in the first round of the World Cup bid as well. So both eliminated World Cup bidders are facing each other. :yes

Anyway, like always, I am expecting an Australian fightback.

Three hours ago I read on cricinfo that a flat pitch awaits. So far I haven't seen any sign of it.

I am expecting Watson to strike the balls and Hussey to dig in.

The question is whether it's an advantage to bat last. I don't think it's too good a wicket that it will be.

What are you having that took 26 minutes to make when the cricket is starting? Surely you need to quickly whip up a sandwhich and run to the TV? :p

Bacon and egg sandwiches. :p

Some of those TV graphics are incredible. Pretty flash (nerdy yes). I like how they use a picture of a duck for 0.

Sit down Russia you filthy communists; you can't stop us nailing Ponting for a duck. Jog on lad.
