1. S.Smith, unlucky to not win it in the last game as two others played exceptionally well! scored a good half century when others were panicking (sp?) and getting out.
2. C.Laws, great spell with the ball ripped the kent team to shreads!
3. R.Balaji, supported Laws well and took 3 good wickets at the same time.

Sussex v Derbyshire at Hove

Welcome to a very chilly day here at Hove for the Totesport League Division 2 match bewteen Sussex and Derbyshire. The sky looks very grey however the pitch looks to be in top condition and it going to be hard work for the bowler out there today. Lets move down stairs for the toss of the Coin.

Well, Sussex have won the toss here and have elected to bowl. Richie Roberts didn't seem to displeased with the result when Ian Botham caught up with him shortly after the toss.

Ian Botham:- Richie, you seem please with the results from the toss.

Richie Roberts:- Yes Ian, i certainly am please to be batting first. This track looks an absolute belter out there today. We will be hoping for a good score.

IB:- You have made a few cahanges to the squad, may i ask why?

RR:- Well as i just mentioned this track looks a fine batting pitch so we have brought in the extra batsman to try and take advantage of this. It s a bit of a gamble i know but i think we should be able to some good over from our part time bowler such as Smith, Chance and Molloy.

IB:- Yeah it certainly is a bit of a gamble, I just hope Smith can transfer some of his form with the bat to his bowling. Anyways Good luck to you and your team it certainly looks like we are in for a exciting match.
