By all means though please go ahead and vote.
i was actually agreeing with someone saying you shouldnt be able to vote for yourself but what the hell :P

1. S.Moore, incredible spell in the second innings to win the game
2. R.Roberts, despite missing out on the ton has to be second for me, took the game to the opponents when the team was in a corner. scoring quicky with the next man....
3. S.Smith, scored a good ton and did well to hold it together in the innings. well deserved ton for this man.

Voting now closed.

Thanks for your input Dannybecks, remember all are welcome to vote not just players.

We have caught up with Derbyshire captain Richie Roberts and he s with Darren Lehmann.

Darren Lehmann:- We Richie you lost the toss and Kent have elected to bat first and get the runs on the board. Are you dissapointed?

Richie Roberts:- No not at all Boof, there is always a little bit of life in the pitc hhere early on so hopefully we can claim a few early wickets.

DL:- The team must be on a high after such a classy win against Worcestershire last week?

RR:- Yeah well the boys are pretty keen to get out there, we trained hard all week and are all feeling pretty good. We played some good cricket against Worcestershire but it was only in patches. We ll be looking to improve on that performance and use it as a building block for our season.

DL:- Who has impressed you the most since you arrived here in Derbys?

RR:- Look, everyone has been really training hard and has the right additude which has been the most impressive part of joining the club. It wouldn't be right to single anyone in particular out as everyone has played hard.

DL:- What about Steve Moore and Shaquille Smith? They have been impressive!

RR:- Yeah they have and both are looking to impress again today.

DL:- There has been a couple of changes to the side, what are your comments on that?

RR:- Yeah Shevchenko and Freeman come into the side, I will be opening the batting with Molloy and Shevchenko will take the new ball. Freeman has been brought into the side as he is a specialist oneday player and will be looking to play well to try and get a start in the four day matches.

DL:- Thanks for you time mate.

RR:- No problem boof.

The players are now making there way out to the centre so let check of the teams for the match and get ready for the action to begin.
