sorry i dont think i can change you to a righty big season sorry. Every one was haveing a slog we are 500 plus man, all we wanted was as many runs as we could get before tea. :)

Tea Day 2
Derbyshire all out
Frizzell County Championship
Derbyshire v Northamptonshire at Derby
Derbyshire 516

Blaine Molloy 111 (156)
Jhonny Noyce 215 (277)
Richie Roberts 68 (114)
Steve Moore 47 (120)

J.Louw 4/65
J.Brown 2/78
M.Love 2/119
U.Afzaal 2/105

A huge first innings score here from Derbyshire, they will be looking to really tear through the Northamptonshire top order with there spinners Moore and Keize as well as part timers Molloy and Chance. Well it safe to say the star of the match so far has been Noyce, he is the name on everybodys lips at the moment and is even being compared to the great aussie batsman Steve Waugh, because of his stunning metal toughness and spectacular offside attack. Blaine Molloy who also scored a hundred, that being his second in two matches but cause of the attractive styling of Noyce has slipped under the radar. We also saw a good partnership late in the innings between the wicket keeper batsman Roberts and specialist spinner Moore. Well it looks as if the players are coming out so we ll go down to the action. Please stick around after the days play to here Ian Botham chat with the man himself, John Noyce. (another hit for Jhnnyby00 to right a interview if he gets a chance, or if some else would like to for him fell free, :cheers cheers).

End of play Day 2
Frizzell County Championship
Derbyshire v Northamptonshire at Derby
Derbyshire 516

Northhamptonshire 0/0

Well we are sorry to say but the rain just would not go away here, and as a result we have not seen a ball bowled in this last session. This huge crowd we have seen here today hardly went home unhappy as they got to see there new cult hero Jhnny Noyce score a wonderful 215. They were even more please we he came out of the dressing room during the rain delay to sign some autographs for his adoring fans and do an interview with Ian Botham.

(ok could someone do an interview with Noyce please, i got to go :help ).

sorry lads not been on

Ian Botham - Well John how does it feel to get a doulbe ton before you had even registed a half?
John Noyce - It was fantastic to finally get some runs on the boards it is good to finally score some, when i come out i knew i had to get some runs to show the selectors why they kept faith in me
IB - What about being compared to great Steve Waugh?
JN - Its great to be compared to such a great like him he had so much success i just hope i can live up to it
IB - So what do you think the chances of Derbyshire winning promotion in both the leagues
JN - I think we have a great chance with the way we have played in the last few games it great but we shouldnt get to far ahead of ourselves and take it match at a time
IB - Wise words from such a young man as yourself, finnaly what about the teams performance and what you are going to do tomorrow
JN - i think the teams performance overall was fantastic i thought it was a bit dissapointing what happened to Martin and Smith. Molloy and Roberts played fantastic for their century and half ton. As for tommorow if the bowlers pick up quick wickets then we could make them follow on as most of the day was lost to rain so there is two days left now
IB - Well its been great to talk to you good luck for tommorow
JN - You to lets hope it goes well and no rain falls

Great showing by all the batsmen today, some key innings, btw, the only people we get watching the county game at derbyshire are old, the totesport and twenty20 get a good following though!

nice signiture mr harmison...but am i right in saying that your one day average should be 107? and you FC be 3?

you have only been out once in each competition, so the runs only divide by the one out innings.

im sure thats how it works to be honest....

It doesent matter weather you are out or not its still classed as an innings, can anyone confirm this though!

Good batting perforance by Derbyshire once again, the rain has spoiled the partys in the street though.....

Say:

2 innings, 0 Not outs, 10 runs=5 avg.
However:
2 innings, 1 Not out, 10 runs=10 avg.

See??

if you look at kevin pietersens test average (easier to work out)
M I No Runs HS Ave
K Pietersen 3 6 1 233 71 46.60
divide his total by 6 it is 38.83
divide by 5 (minus his amount of not outs he has had) it is 46.60
there for you minus the amount of times the batsmen has been not out by number of innings to come up with the amount you need to divide it by which means your Ave would be 107 and 3
theres conformation for you

Well if you can't change me to a rigthy then please don't post any pics of me batting. I am a right handed bowler right?
And I never slog. Don't know how to. Just miss. Send me in at 11 then.
