Good bowling performance for myself, but the innings is collapsing. Hopefully some steady play by Roberts (18) can gather us a respectable total, becuase I am not looking forward to batting. And BTW, Keep up the good work Rob

Sorry guys!!! My exscuse is that the ball is nipping arond a lot, look out for my big century in the next innings!

any footmarks on the pitch for Worcs second innings?
If we need to(i.e. If Hick gets away again), put the two of us on, into the footmarks, bring mid-on & mid-off in and see if he's tempted.

btw, We need to dig in, and at ten, I'm the man to cal upon. I once batted in a 30-over 140 opening stand & my partner got a century. I got my top-score.....14!

I think you have to edit your first post, or ask a mod to do it.

Day 2 Start of play
Worcestershine 186
Hick 117 (100)

Laws 4/42
Hemlani 4/24

Derbyshire 5/52
Roberts 18 (20) no
Smith 6 (21) no

Akhtar 3/17
Kabir Ali 2/12

Welcome to the start of play here at Derby for the Fizzall championship match between Derbyshire and Worcestershire. Worcestershire are in a commanding position here going into day 2. The order of the day will be early wickets and try to post a huge lead. On the other hand if your a derbyshire supporting you will be hoping Smith can provide some needed spark and Roberts can produce a solid captains knock.

The pitch appears to have dryed out a lot since the shower yesterday afternoon. The sun is shining and there looks to be little chance of rain to interupt a much anticipated days cricket. Well lets move out to the centre for the action.
