Domestic cricket 06/07 in Australia

The young man McKay, who was in contention to make his first class debut for the Vics, took 6-34 off 20 overs, including a hat-trick in the Victoria 2nd XI match against Tasmania. And Tasmania still have 2 wickets in hand.

That's awfully inefficient of him. He should go and confiscate those remaining wickets.

What a good team effort by NSW. Clark and MacGill have stated their Ashes claim with MacGill proving near unplayable in his 6 overs for 3 wickets and 6 runs. Bollinger, Clark and Nicholson grabbed 2 and Thornely chipped in with 1 to have SA all out for 154.

He was made 12th man they picked MacGill instead of him. His batting hasn't been to great so can't really drop a batsmen for him, pity though Henriques looked to be coming good.

What is the point of NSW picking Beau Casson when Haddin doesn't even give him a bowl. 3 overs for the entire game, it's a waste of a spot. Easily could of put another batsmen in there.

:p cass is old news to me! he bats 3 for his club side and is a underated batsman anyway but come on 3 overs is a waste!

Hilfenhaus 3/30 yesterday including the scalp of Hayden...the star continues to rise.

Some reason he has an obsession with Thornely.
Tait has really found some form now, got NSW in big trouble with 2 LBW and NSW 2/1
Clark finished with 6 wickets and Cosgrove made a solid 94

Going to be a real tough ask for NSW to win this one. Once again its down to Thornely and O'Brien.

Same, have Haddin and Jaques.

Looks like it's going to be a great finish, would be a great game to be at.

O'Brien can't pull??
2006-11-05 16:53
Over 14.1: O'Brien takes the gas, attempting a pull shot, which is mistimed to mid wicket - NSW 6/46
2006-11-05 16:52
Over 13.5: O'Brien gets a long hop and top edges a pull, but it lands safely and they get a run - NSW 5/44
2006-11-05 16:46
Over 12.5: O'Brien gets a bouncer which plays back to, the ball lobbing to where a short leg might have been
