Absolutely block, I've said it before but you can see by the effort and thought that has gone into DB14 that its a game made for cricket fans by cricket fans. Although quite a lot of the features have been disclosed it has me equally excited for the things we won't know til we get it. From what we know its far beyond my dreams for a cricket game, and to think there may be more to come is truly mind blowing.

I think a team manager mode could work if it was say a Cricket Captain/Coach mould where you actually play the matches, but it would be more for the committed cricket fan rather than your casual gamer. I think the single player career mode will be much more successful in that regard.

There are even smaller grounds than that! Those lads across the Tasman certainly have plenty of small things

Like Block said right now im more than happy enough with just career mode, and the point that all the effort has gone to make it better than concentrating on team manager and watering down both.
But surely team manager has scope in future versions , esp i would certainly like to be a owner of successful ipl franchise , it would be pretty fun ... building a underdog team and taking it to victory .....selecting that 16yr old kid that has done well in state match instead of a million dollar star ,and saying 'I told you so ' when he thrashes the worldclass bowlers around ....

Worth noting before people flip out, the magazine might have Xbox One in the title, but the article is about the 360 version and clearly labelled as such.

It's not much better than the intro for FIFA 13 on PS3.
