A different surface? It could look the same but either be much bouncier (preferable) or one that barely bounces at all.

If you're feeling adventurous you could recreate the Sabina Park wicket from 1998.

Why not ditch the bowling machine and have a real bowler hurl them down at you?

Or a counter of how many times in a row you time the ball ideally?

Or get the bowling machine out in the middle of the ground

Got another one - A counter for total number of balls played in a session with no. of hits and no of misses stats too.

One more - If a shot is missed on account of the ball going way down the leg side (usually happens when a short pitchced ball is bowled by a fast/medium-fast bowler over the wicket), do not count it as a legal ball and that should not affect the streak multiplier or streak.

yeah...and a batsman is clean bowled on a short pitch ball+what if that straight drive touches the bowler's finger and results in a run-out...THINK SMART NOT HARD

I definitely think having different surfaces would be a good idea,
a run counter would be good but how would u implement it without knowing what field setting you're batting against!
A red ball.
Maybe the streak counter could reset after an edge or bowled instead of just when u miss/leave it. I think other dismissals may be harder to gauge though.
I would like to see a real bowler if possible.
foot placement and shot selection feedback also would be cool.
And finally the commentery to have the name Houghton(how ton) in the CA!!!
