Have you bought the game?

I ask because if all you've got is a pirated version, this really isn't the place to ask for help with it. It's not only frowned upon, but to be honest I doubt anyone on here would even know how to help, even if they wanted to.

My personal recommendation would be to buy the game, it's worth every cent. If you buy the game it won't have any of the nasty bugs the pirated versions have either.

I mean... he didn't know how to log into steam, didn't get the "Get Best" popup, didn't actually state that he bought the game and ultimately sent us to a site that appears to host porn... but you never know.

What I think we need is a special pirate thread, where we explain in no uncertain terms that there isn't any support for pirated versions on here, and that if they want the full experience without all the introduced bugs they need to buy the game proper.

I have a vague suspicion that many of the pirates come on here without realizing that we are in fact very much in Big Ant's court in that respect. The forum mightn't appear to have any connection to them and they might think that they'll be able to get other cricket fans to help them pirate.

Maybe we need a new type of post. It's like... stuck to the top, but in the stickies. We could call it a sticky stick. While upgrading the site for the holy purpose though, functionality for Stickystickysticky and Sticky4 could be added in, you know, just in case.
