Don Bradman Cricket in the Press

  • I'm not necessarily talking about international player's though, without knowing too much about twitter, can people who follow them not ask if they have played it and post a link of the game or a video of it at the same time??

I guess as well that it might be a bit of Busman's Holiday for a professional cricketer to play cricket games? On the other hand, that's coming from someone who put about 100 hours into "Game Dev Story"!

Mind you, I know of one professional *footballer* who approached us out of the blue to see if we could send him a free copy of AC09... I'd have told him to go BUY one with his many-grand-a-week wages if I'd have taken that call! :-)

I only just noticed: there was a DBC review in the Games TM print edition that came out around June. Sadly not a very good review by the looks of the Metacritic snippet: did anyone get this and what was their beef? Also not sure why they reviewed it two months after release (maybe digital version: was that June?)

Digital was in June, not sure why they waited for it but I haven't seen the review - should probably look it up.

It was Issue 148, which came out in May (must have just got missed in the previous mag, and only noticed by Metacritic later on).

Just read the piece, starts as follows.... not sure they're really on top of things.

Scoring of 6 / 10 was according to this graphic:
