So finally someone's agreed to show the series! About time too...

It's Channel 802 I think on Sky Digital - Sony TV Asia. Doesn't seem like it'll be PPV so 3 cheers for Sony TV for letting us watch some cricket without having to pay another ?15 for it!!!

Seems abit pointless, I dont see why any England fans would subscribe to Sony TV just for these 5 ODIs at ?9.99 per month when there is no other programmes on the channel of interest to them. Sky seemed to be saying yesterday that they where showing and talking about there reporters and people going to Zimbabwe to cover it on Sky Sports News.

Although having said that just been reading the report on the Telegraphs website and the say:

"Now, Sony could become a bidder for England's domestic matches. The current television deal shared by Sky and Channel 4 expires next season and the England and Wales Cricket Board are talking to broadcasters about a new deal."

And ?9.99 a month? I might subscribe for one month unless there's a minimum contract. I don't really want the channel for the rest of the year, doesn't exactly seem to have any of my favourite programs on there...

first it says u have to subscribe ofr a year but if u say i'm subscribing just for cricket it is ?9.99+?12.00 connection charge, i know coz i got it when they showed the indian matches but they r alright because indian series last for 2 months.

I'd rather watch the 2 game series England are playing against Namibia before they go to Zimbabwe. Should be much more of an interesting series.

Not really, at least with the Zimbabwe series there's likely to be protests, there could be on field violence for once! Atleast that might detract slightly from the cricket.

And I would have liked to see how the likes of Pietersen and Prior do against them. Guess it's just not to be.

Lol even if u could understand hindi, it is really bad. I have sony and it is a really poor channel. Last time when they were showing the videocon cup, they kept showing ads after every over and it was the same ad over and over again. Drove me mad in the end. What i don't understand, why any sony viewers would want to England Zimbabwae anyway?
