England in Australia

No! England win is most likely here, but I still think Australia will manage to salvage a draw in their second innings.

Australia could have done with a Shaun Tait or Mitchell Johnson to swing the ball, Lee was not swinging it for them and Mcgrath and Clark rely on the pitch...hence why England scored 551 and Australia are at the mercy of Matthew Hoggard.

if you look at the 3 aussie scorecards s far, if you take ponting and hussey out of the equation austrailia aren't batting very well. but i suppose that is the same for england with pietersen and colly, and bell.

Langer?
Stuart Clark... jks jks

It's a dead pitch....think of the wickets - most have them have come from dreadful shots. It's funny, whenever the aussies have an average day the too old card comes out - as they say, if the keep saying it eventually they will get it right. Hopefully this baking hot weather continues in Perth and we have a cracker of a pitch - our bowlers will bounce back...if only we get rid of Lee.

Ponting is full of BS that he will consider decalring early - they'll bat till they're bowled out. Whether that's before lunch tomorrow or tuesday.

Ponting declaring? Why would you declare when you haven't even passed the follow-on yet. aussies could get bowled out for 340.

I think England realistically need to bowl Australia out with a lead of about 180 to make a game of it. I think I'd also want Flintoff to be fairly defensive about the target - we cannot afford to lose this match and if Punter gets going again, Australia could make a huge 4th innings score.

i still feel that the most likely outcome is a draw, the aussies will try to play for it, unless gilly gets a move on

Giles dropped a crucial catch and bowled nothing again. He may have scored 27 runs but who gives a damn when he's keeping the best spinner in England out of the side? Fletch you fool, play the bloody Monsta!

On a good note, Hoggard looks at his Safrica best and Harmy finding a bit of rythym at last. Haven't seen Jimmy on the highlights yet so I can't say much on him.

The draw or an Aussie win is the most favourable result here.

How hard was the catch that Giles dropped?

giles catch wasnt hard at all, he made a mess of it by not planting his feet and getting into position earlier. Im majorly regretting dumping all that vCash on Aus for the win.... sadly its too late to back the draw now

Australia have a better chance of winning here; England are notorious for not chasing totals.
