England in India - Oct to Jan 2012/13

This umpiring situation is an absolute farce! Now India only need to pick up 18 wickets in the math since Cook has been gifted to them twice. With Cook's form who knows how much these decisions have affected the game. Time for the BCCI to emerge from the dark ages.

Yea man its a utter insult to cricket statistics, i don't know for how much longer cricket can go on like this with one series playing with drs & every india series playing without it.

FIFA is about implement goal-line technology worldwide very soon. UEFA boss platini makes similar dumb noises in opposition to it, just like how the bcci does with drs. But yet his insanity won't be able to do compromise the integrity of football, like the bcci opposition to drs continuously does irritatingly in cricket. :facepalm

Really do not understand Dhonki's tactics, it doesn't matter if they lose as the only result that will save the series is a win. If a draw would draw the series then fair enough.

And to have worked your way up to the opposition score so cautiously and declare behind makes no sense either. Ashwin should have been told to hit out and India take whatever deficit.

re DRS, I wouldn't use goal line technology as an example, that is like run out decisions not DRS. DRS would be comparable to (penalty) incidents in the box which I doubt we'll see any time soon. Amazing that football can be so far behind cricket in that respect, but BCCI want to be behind both.

With the BCCI stubborness I can't help but think it might be part to do with $$$$$

KP out to left arm spin :D Here comes ding dong to score his runs in the 2nd innings to complete my prophecy.

England can throw this away, they shouldn't but you never know. Really need to still be batting mid morning tomorrow, sadly for Dhonki and his crew they are unlikely to declare so the Indians need to shake it up, offer a few tempting wide balls etc and then go for it - maybe emulate England in 00/01 tour of Pakistan where they were something like 100 ahead and three down, England bowled them out and chased down 176 off 44 overs at 4 rpo.

Does Dhoni has some kind of a rivalry with Chawla? He takes 4 wickets in the first innings and he's given just 4 overs so far in this innings. :facepalm

It appears from snicko that Dharmasena actually got the Trott call right. Shocking scenes from India complaining after getting Cook and Compton incorrectly.

It is funny seeing India so wound up at Trott when they've not even come close to getting Cook out in either innings, yet he's just walked off (like he should). Trott is the perfect man for that though and this scenario, proving to whoever said he should be dropped or moved down the order that he shouldn't be.

Compton's dismissal seemed a strange one, but he was out one way or the other, so it doesn't really matter. The bigger question is, who is this imposter and what has he done with the real Ian Bell? :D

I am backing England to bowl out the Indians tomorrow, would just add salt to their wounds! If not a draw would still mean the Indians have lost the series! I think an Indian win is impossible and would not occur!
