England in India - Oct to Jan 2012/13

Nothing but variations necessary for Indian seam bowling to perform better... Let's see how Shami Ahmed bowls today and grabs the opportunity :thumbs

I worry more about Ashwin, what has happened to him suddenly? On a batting paradise, Tredwell can pick up almost half of the Indian team, and Ashwin goes wicketless? huh :facepalm

Another woeful start for India :facepalm England are doing enough to trouble the batsmen at the moment.Finn has been quite good so far.India must look to build steadily here without losing wkt any more.Kohli must get some runs under his belt.Hasn't been doing anything for few matches now

Why is there an effort to give as many chances to a certain crop of players despite their repeated failures ? MSD may have led the nation to a couple of World Cups, but at this point of time, he is terribly falling apart as far as his team selections are concerned.

Same old same old..Dhoni plays a gem of an innings.Acceleration at its best and again he is criticized. Jadeja was a surprise though. Now if only he does this continuously.
Also, this pitch is not a batting paradise at all as it was made out to be.England may have given 30 runs more I am afraid.

Cerande, look carefully at my post. Nowhere have I even mentioned anything about his batting. I am simply talking about team selection and leadership. Though you are free to think whatever you want to, I have made my point clear.

Ignore icyman. He would have criticized Dhoni no matter what. Tell me which top order player he has persisted with apart from GG? Rahane needs to play, he is. Kohli should be playing, he is. Yuvraj has been batting well so he is in. What else?

You have answered it yourself. It is GG. The main thing is- it hurts to see a talent like Pujara who is ,in the pink of his form, and is made to sit out.:(

I agree that RJ produced a rare beauty, can't comment anything on him here.

Gonna be a real test for the new look Indian bowling lineup, Jadeja's inns may be the difference here. COME ON ENGLAND KNOCK THEM OFF!!!!!!!!!!

RAVINDRA JADEJA thought he actually deserves for the Oscar Award under category "Best Role for All-Rounder" :lol

Nonetheless powerpuff inning and what a finish by MSD & Jaddu :cheers

I would like to see Shami & Jaddu get flying colors in bowling :thumbs

India's bowling is a little weak, we will have to see what happens

KP's wicket is key here Looking at the rest of the line-up you can only say morgan has proven himself to be able to win ODI's with an innings, if KP can get a century it's easily england's, if he gets 70-80 it's close, anything less and india are huge favourites

Where were you when Gambhir scored that 50 ball 50 in the 1st ODI? Oh yeah, I remember now, you were bitching and moaning about someone else...
