I would love to know what the ECB think about the TV matter.

And actually myself would found it a shame if to buy a sports channel for cricket and then to find they couldn't air it.
But there is always the good old radio. :happy I even listened some whole days to the radio during the Ashes.
ZexyZahid said:This time ARY had the Sky Sports feed. The only thing that I can remember is when a boundary was hit a small text appeared of a sponsor. Apart from that there wasn't anything annoying for me. Also during the drink breaks there were commercials.
There is some rolling text during match, but that's just the statistics of a current play.

Sehwag
Gambhir
Dravid
Tendulkar
Laxman
Ganguly
Dhoni
Pathan
Harbhajan
Kumble
Zaheer
I can't see the selectors dropping Zaheer, as they haven't in the past, even when he has not been performing. But they should look at getting another guy in. Perhaps they'll drop Gambhir and play Agarkar or Sreesanth. It'll be interesting.
ZexyZahid said:Well, cause of the money the English people can't see the cricket of their home series on TV as a normal channel and they have to pay for it. Every country has such deals.
Also in the article is stated that for Sehwag a decision will be made tomorrow. Ganguly was normally already in the Test team, so Gambhir or Jaffer could profit from Yuvraj Singh's abscence. And Yuvraj Singh being injured is a big deal.
valvolux said:the tv thing is a shame. here in oz Foxtel picks up whatever Sky gets...so we miss out as well. with india's injury concerns it looks like england might get a look in after all....should be a ripper series. i'm pretty sure when we won there in 04 it was the pace battery that did all the damage, so there's no reason why england can't do the same. apart from tres though, they all still look highly dodgy facing spin and i think this will be the deciding factor. i'm positive the english bowlers can restrict india to low totals, it's just a matter of whether their batsmen can do their bit.
