England tour of Sri Lanka 2021

I'm really not sure how well England have bowled because Sri Lanka's batting has been pretty poor. Really lacking patience. Some very good catching from Crawley and Anderson took a belter.

Agreed Sri Lanka too Gun Ho here: if England can nibble these last four out they are in with a real chance if they bat with patience.

Has to be gettable this! yes it will be a challenge with the spinning ball but it is doable. England are imo a better batting side than Sri Lanka although they of course have the edge with the ball on home conditions.

One or two decent partnerships. I think Sri Lanka have blown this with some sloppy batting.

About a quarter of the way there!

oh Johnny! Making a T20 of it!

England doing it the right way. There's no point blocking and waiting for a bad ball. Target's not too big - so one 50-75 run partnership ought to dent SL's hope of a win. Attack and win should be the motto.

Just waiting for the :"Again Root fails to convert a score into a double century" comments......
He has come a long way since the South Africa series last year. I don't see a point in people bringing those sort of comments now. A double hundred in the last match and a 186-run knock sets things up beautifully for the India series.

Game wide open now. Think this might be a tight contest.
