9 Runs To Win In 6 Balls​

Lets take you directly to the final over of the match and watch the action and drama of the last over . It never got so exciting .

1st Ball : G.McGrath to A.Agarkar. 9 runs in 6 balls
All Agarkar has to do is to get off strike an give the strike to Yuvraj Singh who has the ability to strike the ball nicely . Ponting has his field ready for Agarkar and no easy singles to take on . India will have to find a single somehow. McGrath a good length delivery to Agarkar . he went for the slog but the ball took the top edge of the bat and it was in the air for a long time. The fielder was running for the catch from long on but the ball was well away from him and it crosses the boundary ropes . Lucky boundary for India and it eases the pressure and now the pressure is right back on Australia but still Agarkar is on strike and anything can happen.

The field was spread a bit but still there were fielders inside the circle to save the singles. Mcgrath a full delivery and Agarkar went for the straight drive and was stopped my McGrath . Dot ball and now the pressure is on Agarkar who has to get off-strike .Every dot ball will bring the pressure back on India.

McGrath bowls a short ball around the hips . Certainly he has missed the line but the length was allright. Agarkar smartly plays with soft hand and batsmen scramble for a quick single . Yuvraj completes the run comfortably.

Yuvraj on strike thats what India needed at this stage now they can hope to win this match . McGrath bolwed slightly outside the offstump and Yuvraj went after the ball and tried for an offdrive the ball didnt bounce as expected which resulted in a swing and a miss and another dot ball brings the pressure back on India.

Pressure on Yuvraj Singh he has to score atleast 2 runs now of this delivery . McGrath is bowling nicely and Yuvraj needs to find the gap and look for couple of runs a boundary will also do it for India . McGrath overpitches one to Yuvraj who goes after the shot and times that sweetly and finds the fielder resulting in another dot ball . Pressure on Yuvraj as he has to score a boundary now .

All the pressure of the world is on Yuvraj Singh's shoulder . He has to hit a boundary now orelse India will lose this match coming so close . McGrath has to picth it in the right spot . Mcgrath comes steaming in to Yuvraj Singh for the final ball of the Champions Trophy . he slightly overpitches that one and Yuvraj goes for the huge swing with the full swing of the bat and connect it handsomely but he has not got the right elevation as there is fielder on the boundary at long on but the ball clears the fielder and Yuvraj got the important boundary which India needed . India win the match by 3 wickets and win the Champions Trophy 2006 that too at such a difficult stage which went down the wire and Yuvraj is the hero for India hitting the boundary of the last ball.
