That's dissapointing. McGrath come and take revenge on India in the World Cup. Roll on the Ashes :)

I predict a five-nil whitewash to England.

Carlsberg don't make The Ashes. But if they did, it would be the most funny Ashes in the world.

Hawkeye is the best and promising technology which SKY Sports used for their past series but now for the Ashes they have decided that the hawkeye will be completely different with different angles and all animated stuffs and most importantly the previously used Hawkeye layouts ( i.e. in Natwest series and Champions Trophy)wont be used again. This is the most promising stuff from SKY Sports.

2. HOT SPOT
new.gif

Another stunning technology to be used for the Ashes is the HOT SPOT . Its a new techonolgy which many people are unaware of . Hot Spot is a techonology used by the military to track jet fighters and now it is added to the cricket technology for the first time .The Hot Spot, is reportedly 100 % accurate and shows whether the ball has hit the bat, pad, glove or ground by utilising infra-red technology . The Hot Spot uses two infrared cameras positioned above the field of play at the southern and northern ends of the ground . They record play and spur into action if there is an umpiring incident. These cameras sense and measure heat from friction generated by collision, such as ball on pad or ball on bat enabling the exact decision.

3.SNICKOMETER
Snickometer is a great technology which gives the confirmation of caught behind if the ball has caught the edge of the bat or not. The Snickometer will be fully animated with thin peaks confirmining the decision.

4. DARTFISH
Dartfish which is also known as the Tracker will track the ball or the fielder of the shot played by the batsman and will show the fullmoting of the object frame by frame .

5. RED ZONE
Red Zone is useful to check if the ball pitches otside the line of the legstump or is the ball hitting the batsman outside the line of the stumps . This feature helps to disappear some part of the batsmans body so that we can see if the ball was in the line of the stumps.
