great use of the field changer. Australia in an ok position 30 overs to get 147 may be tough but they have the fire power of gilly and symmo kutgw

AWESOME work like the field changer will you use more detail for the last session? cant wait and good luck

some good moves their by the England Captain. Exellent work on the field editior. Mind blowing stuff. Keep up the good work man

Thanks guys for your wonderful comments. With just 30 overs to go and Australia needing 147 runs with just 6 wickets in hand, its really getting tense now. Can England win from nowhere or will Australia still continue their domination? We will find that shortly in the next update. Update coming soon :)

WOW awesome graphics there gamer. I love the field change thing. Every thing is wrapped up for a tight finish i reckon. Australia will need to slog there way with tumbling wickets is my guess. Should be a cracker.

Down to the 15 mandatory overs

We are down to the final 15 mandatory overs of the match and still there is no winner. Somehow after losing 4 quick wickets, Australia have managed to crawl their way back and get into a position from where they can press forward for a win but the focus is on England as they have managed to pick up 2 important wickets in this little period of play but still their job is not over as Australia are looking the most likely team to win this match.Lets take a look about what happened in this little session of play.

Australia were in a good position at the tea interval but still those 4 quick wickets might have opened the door for England. However Hussey steadied the ship by scoring some important runs but he did not provide enough resistance as he lost his wicket just after the tea interval. Monty Panesar pitched the ball in the rough just outside Hussey's offstump and the vacant cover region invited him to go for the drive making him play against the spin. But the ball turned more than Hussey expected and eventually he was cleaned bowled. Hussey scored 31 runs but now the last recognized batting pair is out there in the middle which is a worrying factor for the Aussies.

Hussey departs. Big wicket for England

Clarke,Gilchrist taking the game away from England
Just 1 more wicket at this stage and the match was completely in England's favour. Vaughan brought Hoggard back in the attack hoping that he will bring the ball back into Gilchrist resulting in another wicket. Still the field was attacking and thats when Clarke and Gilchrist made the most out of it. Both Clarke and Gilchrist started playing few attacking shots and found the gap each time they played a shot. Runs were coming at this stage for Australia and Hoggard was proving to be expensive which was a big concern for Vaughan. Vaughan was in two minds whether to go with the 5th bowler or whether to bring back either Flintoff of Broad back in the attack who were needed in the later stages of the match. Vaughan took the gamble and brought Flintoff back in the attack after he bowled 10 overs on a trout just before tea. But things didn't change as expected as both Clarke and Gilchrist continued the assault and Flintoff was proving to be ineffective. Soon Clarke reached his second half-century of the match. Clarke fought hard for his fifty but still the job is not over as Australia still need him till the end.

50 for Clarke.

Bucknor makes a big error
The body language of the England players suggested that the game was slipping away from them but suddenly there was a spring in their step as Monty bowled a beauty to Gilchrist. He bowled a similar delivery which he bowled to Hussey but this time it was targeted on the stumps which turned sharply into Gilchrist and struck on his pads. There was a huge appeal from all the England players including the captain M.Vaughan who came running from mid-on as that one was clearly plumb in front and it was looking out even with the naked eye. Monty and G.Jones already started celebrating along with the appeal but their hopes were crushed by none other than Steve Bucknor. Usually Bucknor takes a long time to give his decision but this time the finger never went up. England players didn't believe that and Monty was frustrated with that decision and the players were waiting to see the hawkeye on the big screen.

Gilchrist lucky to survive

There was no doubt that the ball was going to hit the stumps but the only question was if it hit the batsman in the line of the stumps. The replay suggested that it marginally did and it was hitting the middle stump and those decisions are given 9 out of 10 times. Monty was not at all happy with that decision and the very next ball he was smashed for four.

Andrew Flintoff strikes
But Flintoff got the much needed breakthrough in the next over as Clarke was caught behind brilliant by G.Jones. Jones dived full length to his right but the most important thing he did was to catch magnificently with one hand. Clarke was dismissed just after he scored his half-century and now England feel that they can win from here.

Frustration continues
England players were pumped at this stage as another wicket will take England closer to victory. Gilchrist smashed hard through the offside but got an outside edge. There were cries of catch it as the ball was traveling at good pace but Cook got himself in an awkward position and eventually dropped it. It was not over yet as Broad managed to find an outside edge of Lee's bat but luckily for Lee the ball went between the 2nd and 3rd slip.

Now fielders make mistakes

Frustration was clearly seen on the face on England players but still Vaughan was not giving it so easily. They just need 4 wickets to win this match but the worst thing for them is that Australia are now reaching very close to the required target. Couple of destructive overs by Gilchrist will completely take the game away from England but if Gilchrist losses his partners from the other end then England can seal a memorable victory.

Australia scorecard

England bowling card
295vz9.jpg

England(1st inn) : 522/9 dec (161 overs)

Australia(1st inn) : 435/10 (118.3 overs)

England(2nd inn) : 219/10 (70 overs)

Australia(2nd inn) : 243/6 (55 overs)

Day5, 3rd session :Australia need 64 runs to win in 15 overs with just 4 wickets in hand

Now with just 15 overs to go Australia need 64 runs to win and England need 4 wickets. Couple of big overs will win it for Australia and couple of wickets at this stage will take the game in England's favour. Not a single spectator has left the ground so where are you going. Stay Tuned for the 15 mandatory overs of this exciting test match.

When compared to runs to get, its nothing big for Australian standards.. They can do it still.. They(Aussies) have the habit of winning these type of matches. ;) For England, they need to work bit more to get their dream victory.

Fantastic presentation as always. :clap

superb update mate...its just superb...good bowling by Monty and Freddi....Big blunder by Boucknour and may change the result...he shud be sacked....Cook shud have caught that one...Gilly cud be the danger man...but still I go for England to win.....

Great graphics and presentation...ur the God of it.....

Brilliant update mate. I hope England can do this but I think Australia might just edge it. Please prove me wrong :upray

Once again, great update

Really nice hawkeye there gamer. You were telling me about it all week so great to see it in action :)

Australia should win this one, but if England get a wicket within the next 2 overs the Aussies may get a bit worried. Maybe even a tie on the cards! Great work Gamer as usual :cheers

What a game this has turned out to be! I now expect the Aussies to win this one especially with Gilchrist at the crease. It could have all been so difficult if England would have had the rub of the green that they needed.

Brilliant new hawkeye, and a superb graphics effort all round.
