i wud be with u leftie to see Aussies winning this one :) i feel, Aussies wud win with ten overs to spare :D after all, they are capable of maintaining a RR of around 5-6 in Test match, so its possible for Aussies to make it here also :D

As i was saying from beginning, " com'on Kp and Aussies "! former has finished and now its turn for latter ;)

good total by england should be difficult for the aussies to chase down

England can still defend this target if Freddie & co bowl well.

Excellent presentation as always.

England have put up a decent score on the board. They should be able to defend this with disciplined bowling and constant breakthroughs. Once again Gamer, fantastic presentation!

Huge blow for Ausralia

Australia were condifent when they came out in the midlle chasing 245 in their 50 overs. Adam Gilchrist and Shane Watson were the two openers for Australia and Harmison was the bowler. Harmison has a great chance to come back in form as this pitch is bowler friendly in the first few overs when the ball swings a lot and then it becomes bit easier to tacle the swing. England has to pick few wickets inside the 1st 20 overs or else the Aussies will run away with the win. Both the openers were off the mark straight away in the 1st over. J.Lewis who bowled well in the last ODI against India will now look to go through the Aussie top order batting and will be looking to grab few wickets . He started with a big no-ball but then came back strongly as be bowled an away swinger which just missed the outside edge of the bat . The next ball Waston tried to leave the away going delivery but the ball came back in sharply and went over the top of the stumps. Finally the moment came for England when Watson tried to play a cut shot to an away going rising delivery and managed to get a slight edge and it went flying the the keeper Chris Read who made no mistake and made the catch look easy.Watson departs scoring just 1 runs and now England are on top but things are far from over as Ponting takes gaurd.
Watson's Wicket

Aussies will now have to look out for the swing in the first few overs and try to build up a partnership as Pietersen and Collingwood did it for England . While on the other hand England will have to grab few more wickets and they have to start uilding the pressure . Flintoff is changing the field got a short fine leg and a short midwicket too. Looks like he wants to invite Ponting to play across the line . Smart tactics by Flintoff

Australia : 3/1 (2 overs)
Run Rate :1.5 rpo
Adam Gilchrist : Not Out 1 (5)
S.Watson: c Read b Lewis 1 (7)

J.Lewis: 1-0-1-1

England : 244/5 (50 overs)

Australia require 242 runs to win in 48 overs at 5.02 rpo

Good start by Lewis! Still Aussies have strong line up to chase this! Lets see, how England bowlers are managing this!
