England's tour of India - 2021

Missing Shami big time here! Bumrah is very good at bringing it in and challenging the pads and stumps but because he doesn't have the other one when it reverses, it gets predictable.

Decent start for England.

Not sure what Burns was thinking when he played that shot though?

Mo averages about with the 65 in India
I assume you meant the bowling average. That's piss poor! Not sure why I had the notion that he generally does well against us. Probably his home stats against us would be gold.

Yep, with the ball. He somehow has 31 wickets @ 22 v India in England from 7 matches.

His batting record in India isn't bad so coming in at 8 instead of Bess might be a possibility.

This is a Typical Indian test match wicket (Similar to wickets we had against England last time in 2016 not like the rank turners we saw in 2015 Season) - flat & slow will see the spinners get into the act on the 4th & 5th day.

England If I remember correctly batted first 4 times in that 2016 series and score 400 runs each time they played but still ended up losing those matches.
