England's tour of India - 2021

He's certainly working hard

Also this over rate is hilariously bad
Oh, I did not mean his work ethics. I meant work hard and get in. He has got some runs but has thrown away his wicket. He needs to bat a long innings.

haven't followed it closely, but in India I believe the pandemic was wide but mild, i.e. lots of infections but much lower hospitalisation and death rates than elsewhere.

there are possible explanations for this that 15 months ago wouldn't have been controversial but would now put you up there with Trump injecting bleach
I would imagine the climate might contribute and the fact there have been other outbreaks of flu epidemics in India in recent times that they may just be better prepared.

:cheers

I think England made a mistake by not starting with Archer. He could have gotten a wicket earlier.

Axar Patel at his home ground!! Ashwin at his home ground in last two tests!! What is happening in this series? :D

time to bring in 2 day tests

:lol
True... In this T20 day and age, a pink ball test just magnifies the speed at which the game moves. I won't be surprised if this test match is over by tomorrow. I would rather watch 2-3 T20 games over this. I am just not sold over pink ball tests

Well looks like England got their selection right.
This won’t age well when India are bowled out for 150, England score 450-4 declared then bowl India out for.........

Doctor, doctor can I have my meds please ..?

When you see how the second test went there was no way that this wouldn't be a turner. They know their spinners are better than ours, and they know that our players can't play good spin.

With the pink ball and the floodlights etc there was always going to be movement for Anderson/Broad but I'm not sure 3 frontline seamers and Stokes is going to work in India with or without a pink ball. I think it does sadly show what little faith they have in Bess though.

We can say all we want about the officials who have been a disgrace really and the pitch is marginally better than Chennai but still not fit for test cricket IMO but the bottom line is we've being embarrassed a bit in conditions we have no idea how to operate in. Some of the batsmen just don't look like they have a plan at all.

To be fair though we won 1 which is better than I thought we'd do.
