Story England's Tour Of India 3 Tests 5 ODI's (BLIC)

3.3 is getable. Thanks for working out then run rate, mathematics isnt a strong point of mine.

Well they are about 72/2 off 34 overs, thanks to a defensive field. Ive got the major places coverd, cover, fine leg, third man, long on, 1 slip, and the rest close in. So far, my wicket ball has either taken a wicket, or been dispatched.

The worrying thing is Gambhir, hes still their, if he scores like he did in the first innings im a gonner. He's currently on 40 and not afraid to hit sixes.

Last update for today time to play some medal of honor, drink some stella, and prepare for the Chelsea game tonight.

GO England, Good Story, Good thread, BLIC Rules.

Cheers Usy!

Wickets To Fall So Far On Day 5

All pretty similar, England are bowling wicket to wicket with a strong legside field. The uneven bounce of the pitch, and excessive turn is making batting difficult. India dont need many more, but are 3 down, so if England can pick up one, maybe two more wickets India might be forced to play for the draw.

Blackwell Snares Gambhir In The Last Over Of Session 2 Day 5

Ian Blackwell produced a superb over, and Pieterson produced an even better diving catch. India have a tough decision to make with 30 overs left to play, do they play for the draw, or go for the win and risk defeat?

Are we over-estimating the AI? :p

Ha, probably mate. To be fair, they judged it pretty well.

The Game Ends In A Draw

What a final days play here in India. At the final session both teams could still come out with a result. But in the end, the draw seems a fair result. India mixed aggression and defence well, but in the end England had the patience to wait, and the chances came. England's part time spinners, and blacky performed really well, and slowed the runrate down to around 2.5 per over, and picked up wickets. In the end, they actually could have won the game with a few more overs to play. A gritty performance from Blackwell, and another impressive performance from Piterson, with the ball  . Gambhir gets my nomination for man of the match. Feel free to put forward your own.

Second Test Match

Welcome to the second game of this three series test match. Its baking hot, the pitch is crumbling already, and England have won the toss. Captain Michael Vaughan has no hesitation in putting his team into bat. The groundsman of India has said he expects alot of runs to be scored on this pitch. The bounce is likely to be uneven, and should have a little bit more in it than the pitch England batted on last time. Obviously its a spinners wicket, so expect to see alot of spin.
