Liverpool maybe, Chelsea I don't fear, I'm waiting for Mourinho to get a job and take half the squad with him and even if he doesn't I'm not too worried, i just reckon under Grant they'll slip up too often, Arsenal are the obvious threat Almunia looks the man to me, he was pretty good tonight apart from on the goal and if he gets injuredtheir buggered.

Well Chelsea are doing better than United now, they've won how many games in a row unexpectedly...

Then take away Drogba, Essien, Kalou and Mikel for a chunk of the season and it's lot tougher, 2 of their best players going. Did you know Chelsea chairman owns 1 share and Abramovich 84 million and their the only people who own shares in chelsea. Weird

Oh yeah taking into account the Cup of nations good point. We're only losing momo, which could actually be a good thing :p

Superb result for Newcastle tonight (and for us, of course). If it wasn't for that terrible clearance in the lead up to Arsenal's goal, Newcastle would've won.

2 things have annoyed me from the United website tonight. Firstly this:

How can going to Saudi Arabia in the middle of January help the side. It's a money making idea from the prickish Glazers. Fergie has to go along with it to keep his job, I'm pretty sure he won't be that happy about it. We have world class conditions at Carrington, so it can only be a money-maker.

Now the majority of this is excellent, the exhibition, the re-naming of the tunnel, the free-to-air MUTV for a day. However, I was sure the game against City had been moved to late February, obviously its been moved back. How thick do the Premier League get? City fans are blue scum and will make remarks about Munich, which will cause huge trouble. If we win, that'll be a special, special day.

EDIT: I don't think Liverpool or Chelski will end up being challengers towards the middle to end of April, I still think United will come out on top over l'arse, we really aren't getting noticed as much as we should, but tbh, I guess us United fans should be used to that.

1. I agree with you on a practical scale but football clubs are companies now, they're business', money-making machines. It's just the way the industry works now, besides this expose in the Middle East could be what buys you the next Portugese sensation. Don't knock it till you realise how vital it is.

2. You'll give as much as you get back, and it really doesn't matter who says what first. You'll all have a go at each other very childishly and both sides will complain. Both sides have to take responsibility, not blame the other half.

1-0 down already... the run will continue i believe... this'll be 15 away games w/out a win

scorer: ex-town player darren ambrose
assist: ex-town captain matt holland

Wahey, Yakubu scores the first Everton hat-trick since Steve Watson back in 2003 against Leeds.

2-1 win for Newcastle. It didn't look like it was going to happen for most of that game I can tell you.

Steve who Matt?! Good win for united, the tevster on form :D keep cranking up that pressure
