Ohh,you can prove that can you?:I'm afraid it is laughable.They are certainly nothing on us as a team,even as a Madrid fan,you must understand that.We've been very good during pre-season,and i think the doom and gloom from some of our supporters and the many jealous idiots from other clubs has been overhyped.We have a fantastically talented squad.We'll be fine this season.

VP, what a goal against Inter Milan. We played well against PSG, Inter and Lazio. I hope we play our first choice team against Ajax so we will be able to get a look at the new team.

Well looks like Ade will miss the first game of the season,hopefully he'll be back for Sparta Prague mid week.I'm really looking forward to seeing Walcott,Eduardo and Sagna.I haven't seen the latter,so should be an exciting night.

United are drawing with Chelsea in the community shield Rooney looks like he's pissed off which means he's either going to score a hattrick or get sent off,the latter more likely neither side really looks at their best and both are missing key players, united don't have Scholes,Hargreaves or Tevez

The only reason I'm watching this match is because it will be great to see one of them lose. I can't stand another trophy for either of these teams.

For the love if God is it literally impossible for there to be a good game between these two? I could understand the stalemate in the Cup final, but in a pointless charity shield match they should really be looking to play more aggressively.

United have hardly been playing defensively. neither side wants to lose so we're not exactly going to go all out and attack and it's preety much expected that the only way Chelsea will have a real chance of winning against a top side is to shut the game down and stop them from playing.

Good work from VDS. That brings an end to one of the most boring games of football you could ever imagine. This country's football is in such trouble when the two best teams put on a display like that. Bring on the Derby vs Sunderland type games; They entertain rather than be used as a method of torture for POWs. Thank the lord Arsenal are in our league.

Jesus christ it wasn't that bad. If you don't lik it you don't have to watch it. United play some great football, ok they didn't today but thats no reason to go so mental over 1 game. Anyway Edwin you're a legend 4 penaltys saved in a row now iirc from the ciddy game

When you see the best 2 sides in England play, you expect the sort of game Arsenal and Man U played years ago; attacking adventurous football.

Arsenal will play that way against any team but no-one else does against Chelsea and that plays right into their hands.

All I'm saying is that when you see 2 teams of this calibre, you expect football of the highest quality, which, I'm afraid, is not the case.

First competitive football match in ages. Of course I'm gonna watch it.

Arsenal don't play that way against any team, thats just blatantly untrue. Chelsea shut the game down against all the top teams, the last 2 games you played were 1-1 like this and the first certainly wasn't much better. Add to that the fact both sides played weakened sides,nobody wants any injurys and nobodys at their best and you can hardly expect a good game can you. You chose to watch it so whether you think you had to watch it or not if it was that bad you could have turned over, but you didn't.

I'm talking about the CC final and the match at Stamford Bridge. Just because we didn't score that many goals doesn't mean we didn't take the game to them.

It's football. I'll watch anything football related.

'They play some great football, ok they didn't today' - They never do against Chelsea ever since they've become Championship contenders. What happened to all the old 3-3s and 3-2s between Chelsea and Utd? They've gone, because they are both scored testicle-less about getting beat. When was the last time you saw a boring game when the likes of Liverpool, Totenham or Arsenal played? The answer; Never, because there hasn't been one as these teams aren't scared of getting beat like Utd and Chelsea are. It's a shame that with all the talent on display for both teams, they rarely produce a thrilling game when pitted against each team

the carling cup final you still lost (telling you anything?) and you still don't play that way against any team,you didn't against united las season apart from in the last 20 minutes at cashburton when we sat back anyway so you didn't have much choice being a goal behind.
