It wasn't a show of how evenly matched they were as neither played to their full potential. It was really a show of how each team sits back against each other.

Liverpool don't play attacking football anyway though, plus you didn't attack away from Anfield iirc. Will i didn't think this was a dicsussion about raising games i thought it was about playing attacking football.

Well, Liverpool did play attacking football against Chelskov and Arsenal

I wouldn't count it as a friendly as it actually meant something.

Err...they do. We have lacked quality finishing since Owen left, but by no means do Liverpool mainly play defensive football. We do away from home in europe, because we have to.

Friendly against Feyenoord finished 1-1, unlucky not to win as Kuyt scored and it was wrongly disallowed for not being over the line after hitting the bar. Feyenoord were pretty disgraceful though, Drenthe appealed and won a penalty when it was totally obvious is hit Arbeloa in the face. Drenthe could be a good player if he sorts his attitude out, he dived and made a meal of almost every tackle and put in some bad tackles if he got annoyed. Bit of a scrap at the end of the game when Lucas tryed to hit Agger...but luckily no injuries or suspensions when the game got heated. Reina also got a penalty save :D

you do play boring football, your build up play is so slow and until this season you had no real quality players with pace to excite fans.

Well Gerrards numerous bursts through the centre or the right seem to be exciting and fast enough...
