God if say Fulham had a bad season you lot would say they would go down. West Ham stayed up cos of tevez and good team spirit. Curbs didn't have much to do with the tevez procedings it was Pardew signings in the first place!

Fulham DID have a bad season. They only just avoided relegation.

I actually thought the Charity Shield last weekend was a decent game, especially first half, it went off the boil a little in the 2nd half, but Van Der Sar confirmed his status as a legend in the pen shoot out. Haven't Liverpool or Arsenal ever had any dour games against Chelsea, well Chelsea beat Liverpool 1-0 at Stamford Bridge last season, that was poor apart from the brilliant winner from Drogba.

We give Chelsea respect because we dont really want to lose against them as it gives the side that wins a psychological boost. The fact that we are able to attack against Arsenal and Liverpool is proof that we don't really see them as title rivals, and quite right really.

Well we'll have to see this season, seeing as Liverpool bought some good players and got rid of the poor players rather than the other way round which has usually happened over the years :p

So have United, we've brought in quality players and got rid of our one really bad player, Richardson:p.

What a goal by Nani, united playing 2 friendlys tonight lol. Nani and Anderson have looked ok, Andersons looked a bit out of sorts but having had a broken leg last year you expect it. Nani must have been really badly injured,he only managed 2 cartwheel flip whatever thingys :p one games 2-0 the other 3-0 although looking at the oppo its to be expected

You must, in the words of Eric Cartman, 'Assert your authori-tay' against Chelsea. You've always attacked us for seasons but now that Chelsea have become title rivals, you are very cautious. I don't see why.

Nani - just what the Prem needs. Another flippin gymnist

Well surely Bacary Sagna could try some for us...we have enough Africans for there to be at least one 'Flippin Gymnist'.Anyway,i can't wait for us to take on Fulham...Won't be as easy as i'd thought as there signings have been pretty good. This season looks like it will be incredibly difficult.

That is because Chelsea dont let teams play the attacking game. Mourinho's tactics from day one has been to break down the opposition's build up. Very boring but effective.

Can't wait for the games later, I love the first day of the season and with United playing tomorrow the whole weekend looks to be good. I didn't think Anderson looked that out of sorts the other day, he had a decent game, holding back a little perhaps. Nani's goal was special. Looks like Tevez won't play tomorrow as we're holding him back to devastate City:D.

What an amazing finish to what apart from the last ten minutes wasn't a great game. Incredible, I'm glad for Keano. Great drama at the end, Spurs will be bitterly disappointed but its the start Sunderland needed.
