United are playing badly at the moment. It's simple passing and we can't even get that right. I wouldn't mind signing an attacking midfielder in the transfer window because we seem to be lacking creativity. I can't see Anderson adding anything to our team really, I don't understand what kind of role he has. Nani showed some good form at the beginning of the season but since then hasn't really done much, and isn't getting much of a chance either. We can't rely on Giggs every week. I have my doubts about Tosic, he's already 22 and doesn't really look like anything special. Obertan is still learning but so far we haven't really seen much of him.

I've seen enough of him to think he has a future at Old Trafford. Be nice to see him seal the deal with a goal or two. Can't Villa play attacking midfield as well?

When I've seen Villa play he's seemed more like a target man. He's the natural goalscorer of the team. I don't think our problem is our strikers, we've got 3 quality strikers. I think it's having the creativity to turn our build up play into a goalscoring opportunity. We have the right play up until the opposition 3rd then we seem to get a bit clueless.

With Valencia in our team, we need a tall striker who can score some headed goals, as Valencia takes the ball towards the byline and crosses. Berba is tall but I havent seen him score a header for United at all. Some one like Dzeko would be good.

Agreed - he can play wing as well (he started as a winger, didn't he?) Either way, Villa would be a great signing for Utd.

tweaking fearsome tweak! Carragher and Kyrgiakos both pulled off the far post and left Huth unmarked. I think Mascherano did too. Then Kuyt hits the post in the 95th minute. Wow. fearsome tweak.

I don't see any point in sacking Rafa now. Might as well keep him to the end of the season. I can't see Mourinho being much more successful without the money to buy the players he wants. We need to sell the club to another party first.

Liverpool are screwed: each and every one of their decent players is out!

Torres, Gerrard and Benayoun all out. Torres might be out in more permanent way before too long as well - out of the club.

As to sacking Rafa? Nah, he's doing a great job!
