I dont see the joke. United & England would still love to have him if he can get pass this injury curse (BIG IF of course).

He's made of glass. Every time he is close to coming back, he gets a new injury. When he does come back, he gets injured within seconds. Time to call it quits. It's long overdue.

I'd happily sit on the sidelines for 2 years getting paid god knows how much every week :p

Balotelli caught throwing darts - ESPN Soccernet

Throwing darts at players because of feeling bored?! He just can't stay out of the headline for the wrong reasons, can't he? :facepalm

That guy needs help - he could easily have killed someone!

Just give up already. I can't even feel sorry for him anymore. It's just laughable.

Bloody hell man, it's not his fault!

Indeed.

Even if it meant you couldn't do what you love ever again?

Manchester United eye ?40m Wesley Sneijder | Mail Online

SAF should do everything in his power to get him id say.

No doubting his quality but the problem is, it would meaning changing the entire system, and having to play 1 forward. Utd already have 3 fantastic forwards, and none of them have suited a lone forward. Rooney is refinding form playing behind a pacey striker, Hernandez is an old fashioned striker and needs someone with him to link up, and Berbatov can only play in a 2 at his best when further forward. That's why I'm not sure on Pastore either. I think the first choice should be Modric.

Modric is impossible to he honest. He (or Bale) wont leave Tottenham once Redknapp remains in charge.

I think Sneijder can adapt to United's formation though - instead of United having to restructure to adapt him to be fair. I've seen him play in deeper mid-field roles for Holland & Ajax in the past (even on the wings @ Madrid also). Modric is also an attacking mid-field by trade, i remember when Croatia knocked England out of EURO 2008 qualifying & in EURO 08 - Modric was playing in more advanced mid-field position compared to what he is doing for Spurs currently. So that gives me the impression that if Modric can adapt, Sneijder could/should also.

Spurs do still leak quite a lot of goals with Modric in that deep position.

Ever Banega would be perfect IMO.

Vidic was a very lucky boy to still be on the pitch and our penalty was as soft as a girl's skin. :D Don't care. The amount of crappy decisions we've had recently, it's about time some went our way. Rooney was magnificent!

Any slim hopes of retaining the title are surely over now. We were somewhat fortunate to get a draw from the game. Cementing a spot in the Top 3 should be the main priority now. Thankfully, Spurs did not win and hoping for City to drop points tomorrow.

Sotitirios Kyrgiakos , Wow-o-Wow !

:lol

Good for Roy Hodgson. :p

Special day for United fans i guess . Liverpool lost , Chelsea & Arsenal dropped points . Its firmly their title to lose now .
