FA Cup SF

Manchester City 0 - 0 Man U

Erm, do you really have to post the half-time scores?

To be honest, I don't know which is the worst situation right now. City beating United and possibly hearing them talking trash on winning the FA Cup OR United beating City and hearing more talks of them doing the treble! :facepalm

But anyway, City deserved the win in the end TBF. United started well but faded off as the game went on. City pressed United's midfield well and forced them into making errors and that is where the goal came on. It has to be said though, that the mistake could have been avoided.

First, it was Ferdinand who took too long to play the ball back to Van der Sar and then, "of all people", Carrick played a poor pass that led to the goal. And I thought Berbatov's performance today summed up why Alex Ferguson never uses him in a big match like this. Some of his touches were poor and missed two great chances in a matter of seconds. Pretty sure if Rooney or even Hernandez was in those situations, they would have scored.

So now neither of us have our 'talisman player'. The only difference is, we can sure as hell manage without Rooney - can City manage without Tevez and his workrate? :D

2. Just like the Arsenal game, it'll be held in England, Wembley to be precise: basically a home game for Utd. I don't care who it is, but I'd back us against anyone over one game at Wembley. Anyone.

Jumped the gun maybe ?? :lol

The fastest, slowest, fittest players at every Premier League club | Mail Online

Ha im surprised Joey Barton isnt listed as the fittest for Newcastle.

Essein Chelsea's slowest player? Ha nah i dont buy that - he definitely faster than guys like Ivanovic & Terry.

Im pretty sure Walcott is faster than Wilshire also.

That and I don't think Marc Albrighton, Adam Hammill, Fabio and Asamoah Gyan are the slowest player in their respective teams. There are certainly other slower players than them in their club.

What a crazy end to the Arsenal-Liverpool game! And :lol at Wenger's reaction towards Dalglish at the end. So typical of him! :facepalm

:lol

On the FA Cup, I certainly did not see that 5-0 scoreline coming. It has to be said though that Bolton shot themselves on the foot with some of the goals they conceded. What a wrong day to be doing that!

Guess Arsenal saw Graeme Smith around somewhere after RVP scored . :lol
The choker tag firmly belongs to them in soccer now . And congrats to United for displacing us as the most successful club domestically in England . :rolleyes

And I really feel sorry for Wenger inspite of his stupid reactions . Its 7 nil to Arsenal now , 7 years with nil number of trophies in their bags .

102 minutes in the Arsenal vs Liverpool match. Pretty crazy I would say. Later on I saw the official injury minutes were 8 minutes, so don't know how the referee came up with the 4 extra minutes in extra time.

Basically the match should have been over after Arsenal's goal.

No because time carried on when everybody was having a go at the ref when the time continued. Same when he took the penalty I think. SO thats where he must of got the 4 minutes from

No, it's a minimum of 8 minutes injury time. Then time added on for time-wasting, Arsenal taking forever to take their penalty, as well as thier prolonged celebrations.

Yeah but that is also a bit of inconsistency from the referees. Some referees add more time to the indicated injury time while some don't when a team celebrates in injury time.
