Yer he did the same last year and liverpool lost. But one thing to take into account Crouch and Voronin did very little compared to what they are expected to do.
Yeah he did, but that was near the end of the season wasn't it? Thats a little more understandable, but today wasn't at all.

That's because Voronin's a fat slag. Ukrainian manager's words, not mine. :p
:p

Oh, Alan Green's back on it, "It was actually Ferguson and not Benitez that was complaining about the fixture". To be honest, he has hated Fergie and United ever since he had that feud with Fergie, and to slap on top of that, he's a liverpool fan.

Hang on, wasn't Benitez the one wanted to file a complaint to the FA on charge of a fixture conspiracy against Liverpool?

Alan Green is the sole reason I don't listen to Radio 5 anymore. The only time I listen to it is when the Everton games aren't live or covered by Radio City.

Coz Everton isnt as big A club as maybe liverpool, chelsea, arsenel or da best from all : MANUTD!

Valid point, but what in the name of Hitler's tache does that have to do with anything?

Just saw the Liverpool vs Portsmouth game.

Liverpool were very promising in the first and second half creating many chances and portsmouth replied creating chances in the second half.

Voronin went close soooo many times and Torres and Gerrard made big impacts when they came on.

But what about the save from Rena from the spot kick :)

It wasn't really a bad penalty, he hit it hard enough in the corner. And it probably wasn't down to pure luck if you look at Reina's penalty record.

I think rafa made the changes because he squad is a lot stronger, but he needed class yesterday rather than long balls up to crouch. If torres and gerrard played the whole game we'd of won comfortably.

Oh don't get me wrong, he's a good penalty saver; I'm not denying that. But he didn't have to stretch his arms at all for that penalty; It was a good save, but it won't be going down as save of the season.

Now this is a quality save!

How unlucky were Ronaldo and Scholes yesterday! Scholes threw the ball to about 5-10 yards from where it should have been and he gets booked for throwing the ball away. I wouldn't mind if he threw it to the other side of the pitch, but thats just ridiculous.

If it was anyone other than Ronaldo, he wouldn't have been booked yesterday. There was clearly contact, and the ref just bottled it and thought it would be easy to blame Ronaldo and book him. It should have been our free kick.

Obviously not strong enough Drew.

Ronaldo was unlucky, but Scholes threw the ball away. Everyone gets booked for that nowadays.

I feel sorry for Ronaldo; Always gets booked for diving yet Joe Cole always gets away with it just because he's English.

That save in that video was unbelieveable!!! Lol.

I agree with you Drew about the line-up. Crouch wasn't connecting with the ball very well, Voronin needed Torres up there with him and Gerrard giving him the long balls.

Yes, that save was stuff only Superman could think of doing. Gotta love Seaman.

Ronaldo did go down a bit easy but you see that sort of thing all the time, had it been in the middle of the pitch he's probably have got a free kick. Alan Green is a twat but being a united fan we have the antidote in Terry Christian on talkshite but I can't see anyone but united fans liking him. At least he's honest about the fact he's a biast twat though and most of its tongue in cheek. United were a bit dissapointing to only score 1 again but you get the feeling someones going to end up on the wrong end of a big performance from us like against Roma last year, soon hopefully. Adebayors 2nd goal was class and Fabregas has been the best player in the league this year imo.
