:facepalm

They booed him 'cause we hate him, not because he's black. Didn't see Valencia or Welbeck getting booed. As for the guy who made that monkey gesture, well yeah, that was disgraceful and he's already been arrested.

Yes. but the reason you hate him is that he had the nerve to get racially abused. What a scumbag.

:(

You're not THAT ignorant are you? tweaking hell, I know you support Liverpool but Jesus Christ. Why do Liverpool "hate" him? Because he reported being racially abused by Luis Suarez. So basically you hate him for being racially abused.

Games to be played on the weekend of February 18. Sunderland v Arsenal probably the clash of the lot should the concerned two prevail.

Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion

Everton v Blackpool or Sheffield Wednesday

Chelsea v Birmingham City

Crawley Town v Stoke City

Stevenage v Tottenham Hotspur

Norwich City v Leicester City

Sunderland or Middlesbrough v Arsenal or Aston Villa

Millwall or Southampton v Bolton Wanderers

I really hope we get Wednesday. My cousin is a big Wednesday fan and all throughout the 90s I had to put up with them beating us on a regular basis. :D

John Terry faces handshake snub from Rio Ferdinand | Mail Online

This doesn't argue well for England mannn!!

That might have been true a few years ago, but I think the bigger teams are taking that competition a lot more seriously now.

Its a useless competition, only winning the league the FA Cup matters in England, the carling cup is just overkill and is one of the reasons why English players are so tired going into major tournaments although people wish to not admit it.

You're right. It's a useless competition. This year is an exception, however.

;)

Hmm, we're 2 cup wins away from a Wembley appearance and Leicester are next? We can do it!

Just seen the video of the Liverpool fan being racist towards evra. Words cannot express how disgusting his actions are.

When you combine that racism, and the fact Liverpool fans were constantly booing him for reporting racism I would fully support Liverpool having to play behind closed doors. A fine won't effect the fans, not being able to attend games for a while would.

The actions of some at that game were beyond disgraceful, but what would you expect from a club who so outspokenly supported a racist.

Liverpool have released an apology because they included the clip of that on their highlights on their official website.

"we're not racists. we only put clips of racist gestures on our official website and hate mancs" isn't quite as catchy as it?

While I don't want to give my views on the Evra-Suarez incident and how booing doesn't mean the condoning of racism, because it will only instigate matters further (though willing to discuss it over PM), I'd just like to say that there are bad apples everywhere. I'm sure that the majority of Liverpool fans and the club included doesn't condone such gestures.
