You should never expect a semi final in a tournament with the likes of chelsea, barca, liverpool, arsenal, madrid,milan etc quarters yes you can expect but not any further. Rooney shouldn't start but it's vital he gets some minutes playing with Tevez if he wants to start on sunday against chelsea.

I was surprised to read this morning that Jose Mourinho has left Chelsea by mutual consent.

A lot of people might turn against Roman Abramovich now, considering it was him who caused the argument Mourinho left for. The fans have no longer got a legendary manager, the press have got no humourous stories to write about him now and the war of words with the other managers is no more.

Like a BBC article says, the Premiership is going to be poorer without Mourinho. Even with his attitude, he was the best manager in Europe in the last five years, having won the UEFA CL, UEFA Cup, English and Portuguese Leagues and Cups.

I wish Mourinho well and am certain wherever he goes, he'll do well.

As far as Chelsea are concerned, it could all go wrong now, unless they are able to find a proper replacement.

Chelskovski have made a colossal mistake today! What Roman needs to get through his head is that Chelsea are not Real Madrid and never will be! If he wanted a team that was going to win the C/L year after year, he should've chosen a different club! Jose is one of the best managers I've ever seen and his mind games are second to none, even Sir Alex gets wound up by him. I'm delighted he's left Chelski and I'm really looking forwards to Sunday!
