Well i wouldnt mind tracking any player until we can beat 19 time champion 6-1 but your right hard to say that but my prediction is also for a draw but i would love to have my prediction wrong if city can do it

Here we come..Champions Champions Hahaha 8 point lead u throw thats your experience ..Blue moon is on risen.

Phenomenal performance, agreed. But the job's not even half done imo. Newcastle on Sunday at the Sports Direct Arena will be the title decider. They'll be playing their hearts out as well, with their eyes firmly fixed on that last Champions League spot.

Also that's United's first league defeat on a Monday in 14 years! Jan 19, 1998 - the previous time they lost on a Monday.

My new avatar says it all...

My God, we were rubbish tonight. After the first twenty minutes or so, we were not in the game. We couldn't pass the ball, we couldn't control the ball, we couldn't keep the ball - every time we had the makings of a good attack, we gave the ball away! And Sir Alex, what in the name of all that's Holy did you start Park ahead of Valencia and Young????? The guy has hardly kicked a football for ages and he starts such a vital game - and his touch looked like the touch of a player who hasn't played for a long time.

It's worse in some ways that the goal came from a defender's header rather than a beautiful bit of skill. Smalling at fault there I'm afraid, as Neville said. Attacking, we were nowhere - did we even get one shot on target?

So, it's on to Sunday! Sunday will decide the destiny of this year's title. Man City have got all the momentum in the world and Newcastle have got a nice relaxing game against Chelsea before then... great. :facepalm

That's Tom's old avatar which is confusing :p
Thought Utd were poor tonight; can't remember a shot on goal and City could have had 2 or 3 goals by the end.
Getting a result at Newcastle is still a tough ask but with two games to go you have to fancy then team who are top of the league.

Agreed Newcastle will come hard we can do double on rivals and beat them convincingly they dont have a short on tonight. So i think we deserve title atleast for me..and as always fergie point finger at mancini of attemp to influence the refs..comon fergie accept the defeat you played defensive side who just want to draw now your team is beaten accept it and move on and if mancini influence the ref than Kompany wouldn't have been booked and 5 mins wouldn't have been added on! Sore loser and sour as ever Fergie! Just except you got your tactics wrong AGAIN against us

The main thing I can't understand is why we didn't have Welbeck on with Rooney from the start, and why we played Park when we had Valencia and Young available. Oh well, too late now. Once again, it's out of our hands. I've seen some leads blown in my time, but to blow an eight point lead in around two weeks - wow. That'll take some beating.

No idea where the five minutes of stoppage time came from either.

If City do go on to win the league, that'll be the first time I can remember when the team that wasn't leading over Easter finished top.

They had no shot on goal (depending if the Nani attempt in the 2nd half was going straight to goal).

Its quite amazing that we cannot play our best XI against top sides. If it was any other team other than City, we would be playing Carrick and Scholes as CMs and Rooney and Welbeck upfront. Its quite clear to Ferguson that this team is not good enough for City, so he should probably be investing in the summer. The fact that Scholes didnt have a great game showed how much we rely on him. Park, Nani and Giggs did have some tactical backing behind their inclusion but they were possibly replacing three of Utd's most in-form players in Valencia, Young and Welbeck.

Evans was a bad miss plus our best player was playing out of position. I think it is possible to say Ferguson's tactics backfired.

Well done City they deserve it.

We'll congratulate them (maybe) :p on Sunday if they beat Newcastle. And of course, it goes without saying that we cannot afford any more slipups ourselves. (That's Man Utd, not my Honorary team. ;) )

Edit: Kompany's foul was definitely a yellow card though, he was nowhere near the ball.

I meant the game not the league but my tone may have been misleading :p

Its possible they might drop points against Newcastle, and we win against Swansea, but it will be catastrophic if we somehow then cant beat Sunderland.

Really poor tactically from Fergie. He pretty much went with the set up and shape that saw them get knocked out of Europe with bad performances away from home in the champs league.

Their strength has been the natural width given by Valencia and Young which has given Scholes and Rooney space to operate in the middle. They pretty much set up to contain, and City are too good a side for that, and as surely Man U should have learnt, their midfield isn't good enough for that.

Lol at the Man Utd line-up. It's like he wanted to lose.

Come on City, kill the gloryhunters!

MAN UTD Need To Buy 2 Good Defenders In Summer Transfer Window And Atleast One Midfielder And Kick Smalling

Smalling is young. He needs to be given time to grow, a big club should never let someone like him go as he has shown great form in the past. IMO he's been good this season anyway.

If anyone I'd get rid of Ferdinand first and bring in a replacement like Sakho or Subotic, as he's still decent now and can fetch a decent amount of coin to bring in a player who will have similar ability whilst being much younger.

I think if Vidic doesnt have an injury hit season, then I would expect the Evans-Vidic to be our first choice CBs.

Dont really need defenders Smalling has had a good season, and Jones needs a few more years.
