Relegation battle is on fire right now. It's upto QPR, Bolton and Blackburn then. Wigan have escaped. If Blackburn do get relegated it would be a disappointment really. They had everything in their control financially and club-wise, but they let their time tick on and didn't try to change any of it. If it's QPR Tony fernandes' glory plans would backfire.
Looking nailed on for 7th again though Barmy. How does Moyes keep doing it It says a lot about the man and how he motivates the squad that they're one of the few teams that play until the 38th game of the season. Every season.
Heh true. I guess he just manages the squad very well over 38 games instead of going hell for leather from the off and petering out. With their financial situation I suppose each position and the extra cash it could bring in is essential?
If Man City beat Man Utd, IMO they'll win the title on goal difference. I don't want Nasri to be right, but I'd rather Utd lost the title, so I'd be happy with that result.
Yep, I agree with that - we're not buying Mancini's amateurish attempts at mind-games - we all know that if they win the game, they're in the box seat for the title and the only thing that could save us is that Newcastle are going for the CL. They'll have to play better than they did against Wigan though!! Having said all that, we've already beaten them twice this season (Community Shield and FA Cup) - I would be putting my money on a draw. Either way, it's going to be a hell of a nervous night tomorrow! I've still got a nasty feeling that blowing that game against Everton was the very definition of a title losing performance.
Looks like Chelsea have finally got the real Fernando Torres. Took long enough, eh?
