not really sure how it was only 3-1 today. was an absolute pasting until howard let a soft one in from 30 yards. should have been 5-6 by then (and probably should have got at least one after that too)

villa are absolute plop though. relegation material.

When i saw Rooney's cut initially i thought his foot cut in half or sum.

If Everton keep up the good start to the season, with their traditional end of season form they're a sure thing for the title.

We looked good going forwards; Kagawa's going to be a good signing, Cleverley is showing some good signs and RvP's first goal speaks for itself! At the back however...

Fair enough, our defence is badly messed up - Carrick isn't a CB and never will be - but the keeper De Gea is still looking very ropey when coming for balls from crosses. Rooney didn't look too clever when being carried off either - looks like the 'dream partership', the R & R (Eastenders fans will get that reference) will have to wait.

Very impressed by the signings Moyes has made especially the bargain bin Rangers players. Could have been 5 or 6 as ste said.
Hazard looks like a decent signing for Chelsea as well and what a goal by RVP.
Villa were relegation material last season; can't believe they stayed up. Reckon they have a chance with Lambert in charge though.
Also I agree with Pardew. Newcastle shouldn't have to play Thursday and Saturday.

yep. chelsea can't defend and once the new manager effect wears off for swansea it just becomes a matter of by how many points we'll win the league by.

I'm pretty sure it was proved a couple of seasons ago that adding our start to the previous season and end to that season together we'd have won the title.
Quite possibly with the end and start we'd have been relegated too.

De Gea's showing his class, finally we can maybe get to see the guy who starred for Atletico.

His reflex saves were good as usual, other than that he wasn't good enough coming out for crosses. He was at fault for the own goal. Incredibly stylish finish by Vidic btw:D.

Dembele was looking bloody sexy as hell (no homo). Ever since the Sahin deal fell through, he's been the one I've been wishing for. Exactly what we need, and Fulham can't stop him coming as he's in the last year of his contract and wants to play in the CL.

Kagawa was outstanding as well. It's good for him that Rooney got injured as he'll get to play as a second striker where he thrives instead of on the wings. Reckon he can easily give Rooney a hard time getting back into the side.

It ain't his strongest side, he'll adjust to the Premier League soon I believe.

I don't think so the Liga BBVA makes much use of a keeper's aerial ability.

Yeah it'll take time, but until then he can't really be considered one of the best keepers in the league like some are suggesting.

Ive said it many times, De Gea is not good enough, to many mistakes, the defence don't look like they have any faith in him,

He has potential to cost utd the title, not that I'd be complaining :D

And as for the European champions we are looking good, Hazard looks quality and him Torres and Mata are forming an exciting front 3.!

Plus De Gea has very little chemistry with Vidic. He can still prove himself this season, but he isn't close to Hart or Cech.

Tbh I'm a bit more scared of Chelsea than Utd at this stage.

Hazard is stand-out, but I reckon he'll burn out in a couple of months. I may be wrong though in which case he could be player of the season:eek:.

De Gea is a fantastic shot-stopper but he still needs to work on crosses and long balls. That blunder erased all the good work as it gave Fulham a chance to get back into the game.

Dembele was fantastic but twice in two games we have a failed to shut down an attacking midfielder. Our central midfield still lacks the person that keeps the AM of the opposition quiet.
