It'll never happen though. The economy of Football teams and their assosiations would just collapse almost instantly. It's just Blatter being the tosser he always has been.

VDS is nowhere near as prone to mistakes as Lehmann though . I completely agree with Sepp Blatter and think he's got the right idea :p

But he is still very prone to mistakes as shown as last season.

I agree with Animator that it is unlikely to happen.

Its a good idea but wouldnt that really screw teams like Arsenal anc Chelski:D

Man U would be able to scrape through but it will still be for for even us. Scholes, Giggs (come on, hes close:p), Ferdinand, Carrick, Hargeaves, Neville, Rooney yeah yeah yeah. So I don't mind that idea:)

Oh and Carrick is out for six weeks with a fractured elbow and we dont have Hargreaves and Fletcher either. Shame for them two. They could have really had a good run in the team with Carrick out. Now who? Scholes will surely have to stay back deep like he has been this season so far. Who will come into the midfield now? Maybe Anderson can have a shot?

I wouldn't say he was that prone to mistakes, before last season he made very few but then lost his way towards the end of the season.

United will probably go to Giggs and Scholes in the centre or sadly O'Shea. If he does then its complete idiocy and Giggs or Anderson would be a miles better choice.

Well, it was always only going to be a matter of time before we gave someone a good :boxing! And it could easily have been two or three more!

Yep, still weren't exactly in top gear i would say though. another clean sheet, another 3 points and another masterclass from Ronaldo. It's looking like ke'll have another season like last year, if he does that will be fantastic! We have a huuuuge injury list atm.

O'shea, Vida, Park, Nev, Carrick, Hargreaves, Fletcher, Saha, Brown, VDS, and i'm probably forgetting some ;) No-one can say we've been lucky with injurys this year. Anderson looked class today, Tevez and Rooney could be a quality combination too. I doubted they could work together but their proving me wrong.

Wigan never wanted to attack properly and deserved no less than a 4-0 smacking. Why is Bramble still in the Prem? He basically walked past Teves to allow him to score.

I won't feel safe unless we score twice against Sunderland tomorrow.

There isn't much difference between the top four's goal difference, is there? I thought we'd be miles behind after our 1-0 wins!

Arsenal still have the best goal difference and scored the most even though we've only played 7

Darren Byfield is a god! Bristol City 2-0 Sheffield United. Playted em off the park. Sproule, Orr, Carey, McIndoe, Byfield all amazing. Up into 4th now :happy

By the way, I'm not saying that you need experience to win the league, but it helps an awful lot. The United winning it comment was tongue in cheek, but I'm pretty confident we can win it.

Also, when I say tight games, I don't mean the opposition, I mean the odd game where you used to sneak it one nil. The West Ham game was an excellent victory, but the other two I'd expect you to win. The results that makes you Champions are like ours at Fulham last year.

Thats just GARBAGE!!
My respect for your knowledge of English football went down the pan when you said Man Utd vs the Scousers is a "Simply Sporting Rivalry".

So is everyone just counting the champions out of this title race then. The same champions that have won 8 games on the row (excl. Carling Cup). The same champions that scored 4 today. The same champions that have one of the world's best players in the their side. The same champions that have one of England's best players in their side. The same champions that before today were winning without getting out of 1st gear. We'll judge you Arsenals and Liverpool's when you play the big boys, or when you go away to Newcastle, Bolton, Blackburn etc and get all 3 points.

As much as I hate to quote a Scouser, remember

"Form is Temporary, Class is Permanent"!

I wasn't able to get to Old Trafford today, for probably the only time this season, and we thrash a team for the first time this season! I knew that would happen! I got home at the start of the second half, which was a great time really. It was wierd watching on the telly, but Anderson was class, as was Tevez, as was Rooney, as was Ronaldo and as was Simpson.

If you were truly quoting a scouser you would have included "Ayyyyyyyyyyy, arrrrrrrrrrrr laaaaaaadd, caaaalm down...hubcaps and deeee-veeee-deeeees".

No-one's writing off Man U. But you've already written off Arsenal. The same Arsenal with a WC winner. The Arsenal with one of the best midfielders in the world. The same Arsenal playing the best football in the Premiership.

Form - check, Class - check.

That's sorted

Bolton aren't that much of a threat anymore now that Big Sam has gone.

We haven't had to sneak games 1-0 because we've been outplaying the opposition.

I've just found out that James Beattie is the top scorer in England. Get him in the England squad!!!

Arsenal will win the league, mark my words. Save this post. Remember my name. Suck my Balsac painting.
