TORRES! Stoppage time equaliser...disapointing result but Spurs are a good team on the way back up. 4 behind united, should of been 2 really but we've got a game in hand.

It's painful listening to a match on 5live because they make everything seem like a great opportunity. Great result. Almost hit the celing when the 3rd went in. Top of the league!

Disappointing result at Anfield. I don't give a toss about Spurs. I just wanted Peeinthepool to lose.

I won't feel safe unless we score twice against Sunderland tomorrow

3-2. That's why.

I agree with you on the 5live bit, it's not just them, it's radio generally. They make a miss from 25 yards sound like a sitter! It's nice that we're now ahead of Liverpool even with their game in hand. I was impressed with Arsenal's character today, the way they sneaked a late winner. They deserved the win though and when Senderos put them 2-0 up inside 15 mins, I was fearing for our 9-0 against Ipswich. Especially as they had a goal ruled out for offside, which probably shouldn't have been. Van Persie took his free kick well, although if the ref had let the ball play before it was given, Diaby had hit a screamer into the top corner. Anyway, enough reluctant praise for Arsenal.

Get football back on a Saturday please, it didn't feel right yesterday or today, with 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock games being played while the 3 o'clock games. 3 of those games could have been played yesterday, funnily enough, the 3 on TV.

Unlucky, Keano! You deserved something out of that match, the way you battled. The great man himself would've been proud of that team spirit!
Enjoy it while it lasts, Arsenal. ;)

If Rob Stiles didn't exist and Benitez wasn't a tool, Liverpool would probably be top.
I agree with you on Stiles, but, why does everyone think that Liverpool have the best squad in the Premiership. They've got a world class central midfielder, another excellent one in Alonso. They've got a world class centre forward and a good centre back, however, you could say that about probably United and Chelski. And us two have got more, with full backs who can deliver a good cross and pace on the wings.

Too true. Yeah, Sunderland's players did Keano proud.

John? Arne? Riise?

Not forgetting Aurelio who's crossing can be class, Finnan lacks some pace but can put a good cross in, along with Arbeloa who can play anywhere across the back four and has been probably our best player this season behind Torres.

True. Arbeloa has been brilliant. Cant believe how we let so many of our really talented youth players leave like that.

Liverpool do have the best depth, although it can be used a bit more wisely by Mr. Benitez. United and Chelsea are not far behind, but both have a decent number of injuries to some crucial players.

in my opinion i would write chelsea off this year.. TBH i think they won't get better then a top 4 spot..liverpool in for 3rd... arsenal 2nd after a bad end of season run... and manutd in for premier glory after another thrilling end of season chase,,, pompey and man city to round out the top 6..

BTW this may change at any time..lol

In the second half, our play, passing and general quality matched last season. The rest of the league better watch out because we.....are......back!
