How many times is Fergie going to pair Carrick with Giggs or Scholes in a two-man midfield before he realises it's a really stupid idea?

Is anyone else enoying QPR's mediocrity?

Yep, that soft mid-field pairing as i've mentioned before is a real unnecessary risk. Keeps leaving the defence awfully exposed, which is why so much soft goals united are conceding.

Really only one of Scholes/Carrick should start if he is going to persist with the two man mid-field. One of Cleverley/Fletcher who has some energy has to sit next to them.

Doesn't anyone know? Suarez is one yellow card off a suspension, he'll undoubtedly get it within the next couple of games. Then we'll see what Liverpool are like without him.

Also good to see Southampton getting a good win. They really aren't as bad as their place in the table suggests, they could easily be in the top half if they had some luck.

Aston Villa deservedly in the relegation zone with QPR now (they should play well once Hughes gets sacked though).

Ye that will surely mess Liverpool up. Was hearing recently that pool will try and buy Huutleenar in january. That would be an excellent buy if possible to help suarez.

Been surprised @ how poor QPR have been, maybe its the manager since their team is not relegation material.

It looks more likely that Torres could be gone in january as the rumours say. It was glaring in the second half how often young sturridge (although he misses his chances) got behind the defence - while torres didn't make any such runs for an hour.

The rumour is Falcao comes & Torres goes back to his first home @ athletico to try and re-start his career, since its obvious to everyone that he is a total shadow of his liverpool days self.

It's the manager, Hughes has never been good at all. Watch, when he's sacked the new guy should eventually get them to mid-table easily by this season or next.

Torres doesn't play for Everton:p.

Haa ye i meant to type "everyone" - seems like i have everton on my mind for some reason ha...

Too bad Atletico are after the money rather than the player, they want that ?50m.

Chances are they will lose Adrian too, so getting Torres to replace both of them should be good for them both bank balance wise and on the pitch.

The fans will be dreading to see the back of Falcao, but I think it will appease them to some extent to see the return of El Ni?o. So it's a win-win situation really, and 15 m, almost definitely less is all that's needed.

Ha was Stoke and West Ham playing football today?. That was some exhibition of long ball football & hard mid-field play by big physical players.

Maybe so, we'll just have to wait and see.

One of those games that I just prefer to miss. :p

i thought it wasn't a bad game, really.

it was quite end to end in the second half and a reasonable amount of goalmouth action.

who is arsed if there weren't many 7 yard passes that get nowhere.

I still have no idea why West Ham haven't played Diarra yet. Thought he was a cracking signing at the price... I know he was injured for a while, but still, I expected him to be an automatic starter really.
