Sort of impressive win for chelsea there.

They didn't play well or deserve it, and we had something of a makeshift side out but it's a hard place to come and win and we played really well for parts of the game.

I think a draw was probably the fairest result of the three with us deserving a win more than than did, but at 1-0 we were the better side still and probably deserved to go 2-0 up more than chelsea deserved to equalise, but once they did they played well. Bit annoying that we had 2 good chances right before the 2nd but with the side we had out and the way chelsea had played over the last couple of games i feared the worst, pleasantly surprised at the level of performance. If only we could defend.

Loving Leon Osman everytime i watch everton play. Everyone is very quick to and rightfully praising Wilshire as a englishman with lovely passing skill, vision etc. On current form Osman can't be too far behind.

osman has been outstanding this season. he looked a liability next to neville when we had fellaini up front and gibson out injured as he isn't much an athlete and neville is obviously too old to cover much ground. But he was still playing well enough in position to justify his England call up, with gibson and even hitzlsperger beside him he looks amazing. It's a shame it's took him so long to get an extended run in central midfield really.

Felt we were a bit robbed today. Ba would be a great signing for any team especially at the price being quoted.

i'm not sure. chelsea had their quality chances besides the goals aswell as us. we were certainly pretty unlucky to lose, but we gave up too many soft chances.

Always liked Osman, I watched him at Pride Park during his loan spell at Derby and he was a gem amongst mediocrity. Without him they would've definitely been relegated to League 1.

Right when I thought Aguero was getting back to his old self, he's injured again, FML.

Another class goal for RvP yesterday - as soon as he picked up the ball in that position, I expected him to score. And you've got to laugh at the lament coming from Mancini. Hard cheese mate. We got him, you didn't. :D :D

One man team. :rolleyes

I'm obviously joking lol. I tell you what though, I never truly realized how good RVP was till he made the move to United, idk why, but I just never did.

Well said & i'd say for sure before hodgson called him i never took serious notice of him. Just randomly looked him as your average to solid english, premier league mid-table player who would never get called up like a steve sidwell, mark noble, ricky lambert, matt etherington, grant holt, kevin nolan, leon britton.

Baines is another obvious gun player & his free kick today has probably taken price tag up to the 15-20 mil mark.

Everton rejected a 15 m from Man Utd I think in the summer or summer before, so he's possibly closer to the 20-25 m range.

I don't think anyone can afford baines, really.

It may sound silly as obviously there are teams who have enough to buy him, i just think that he is worth more to us than he would be to anyone else. He's a huge part of how we play, our best set piece taker and arguably our most creative player from open play. Our team is somewhat built around him, which is rare for a left back, and no other team would use him as such a key player, so there are probably better options who aren't as good overall, but are cheaper and good enough.

That perhaps applies to Man Utd, but for example if Chelsea want him to replace Cole, money is no object, they'll pay 30 m if they have to and Everton won't reject it. He is perfect for teams with a bottomless bank account.

Balotelli attacked Mancini today in training, looks like he's a goner in January.
