With QPR playing City and unlikely to get anything from it, they will also be looking at the Norwich game as must win.

Good. 12.45pm, Sky Sports 1 HD. :lol

We are a better side than QPR but something has gone so badly wrong with us this last month that it is anyone's game.

Worst Villa side I've ever seen.

Shame they were one of my favourite teams in the late 80,s and early 90s.

Daley, Atkinson, Platt, Saunders,

Easily the worst Villa side, this. Early nineties, they were actually one of the teams duking it out for the title.

Looks like Lambert might have rushed this Villa transition. Still think they'll stay up though.

Can see a Leeds situation happening here

Could do - if they drop into the Championship this year, it could easily unravel in that direction.

Great result for QPR! Now we've got a chance to go seven clear again tonight if we beat Southampton. :D

More points dropped, ugh.

Tough little game on Sunday as well against Liverpool. By the time you play that, we could be ten points clear. :wave

What do you make of James Milner and Gareth Barry, Epic? Do you feel they're Champions League material players?

-------

And I only just came to know that Chicharito was snapped up by United for 6m. Initially presumed the fee to be around 14M. What. A. Steal.

?6m? Wow...

Good decision to play Carragher today. I feel Liverpool need a vocal defender at the back just to get the others into place and keep them on their toes. We saw in the second half how they just dropped their shoulders and stopped pressing, even with Carragher in the team. It would have been much worse without him. It would be preferred if that vocal defender was one of Agger or Skrtel, but it isn't. Suarez was world class today. Absolutely brilliant. Wisdom was just plain awful. I don't think he played a single pass that wasn't backwards to Pepe Reina. He isn't a right back. I don't know how many more matches he needs to play before Rodgers realizes it. Henderson's industry was once again superb. He probably should have scored in the first half, but overall, he had a good game. Lucas had an off-game today; Wilshere and Cazorla just seemed to breeze past him. I thought Downing didn't get at Santos enough in the second half. Kept drifting into the middle, instead of trying to get to the byline, and basically gave Santos a free pass.

Arsenal's defence. Wow, they are plain awful, but I didn't need this match to make that conclusion. Szczesny was horrendous as well.

Reckon Southampton deserved a draw there(maybe even a win :p), but hey, you held on and that's all that matters. Really can't see us winning the title... :(

Uhm, I rate Barry, Milner, not so much...

What happened to all those people saying Walcott is crap? Seem to have piped down a bit ;)

Seriously wish he was at Spurs, we're more desperate for a striker than a teenage virgin is for boob. I have no idea who this Dempsey chap is, but he's certainly not the guy who scored 20 odd goals for Fulham!

On the plus side, Holtby changed the game when he came on. Dembele is a beast in the middle, but he doesn't unlock teams through his passing whilst Parker seems to get altitude sickness when he gets anywhere into the opposition half ever since he left West Ham. Lewis in just 20 minutes looked lively, operated in the pockets of space and picked out plenty of lovely angled passes. Reminds me of the Croatian magician with his range of passes and technical ability.

Here's hoping he settles in quickly and builds on a promising first appearance!

I was very pleased with our reaction after Saturday. We were superb in the first half and maybe should have scored more than once. In the second half Spurs were in possession and on the attack a lot without really creating many chances. Shame Garrido backed off so much for Bale's goal but a draw was a fair result.

Mouth watering to think that the occasions that Holt was up front on his own with no options are over now. He will have Kei Kamara or Luciano Becchio up front with him now. I'm sure that will be what we need to stay up.

It was a strange game: we could've taken Southampton apart in the first half, but in the second half, they were all over us. They deserved a draw, but not a win in my opinion. No idea what Carrick was doing with that back pass - for me it was primarily his fault - but De Gea really should've done a bit more there. What would someone like Schmeichel have done? He would've squared up to the striker and done one of his star jump moves, which could've put the striker off or it could've resulted in a save. He had a bit of a nightmare last night to be honest - almost spilled a freekick that he should've easily stopped, but in fairness he pulled off a great save later on to deny another Southampton freekick.
