That's a bit like chopping someone's nuts off because they happened to step on your foot.

Not exactly a relative retribution :p

I'm far from a fan of the man but this has made me respect him a little more.

He's spot on and it's refreshing to seem someone stand up for himself a little and call out the fans who acting like like spoilt little children.

I don't.

At first yes I did, you have to give him a chance, but now what 3-4 months on I can't anymore

He hasn't been good enough, the results prove that.

While I agree he hasn't been good enough, I wonder if we're expecting a bit too much from this squad of players. There's just young and old, no middle ground what so ever.

hopefully his millions and millions of pounds will help cheer him up a bit.

in truth, I do think the fans are idiots for demanding a business invests tons of money and hires and fires people willy nilly all because they've arbitrarily decided to wear the same t-shirts as them, but it's not as if rafa isn't fairly compensated for doing a difficult job.

Of course the Chelsea fans take their anger out on the manager. They can't exactly take it out on the chairman, as the same man that is ruining their club, also allows it to flourish. It's a strange twisted circle of logic.

I wonder if Roman is going to get fed up one day soon with Chelsea & say he is giving up the club.

Don't be silly, how else is he supposed to launder Putin's money. He'll leave when Russia has someone else in power ;)

Couldn't careless, I've seen us win the premiership 3 times, countless fa cups and a few league cups and of course the champions league.

Anything else now is just a bonus, I'll still be a fan no matter what happens,

Nothing will ever compare to winning the champions league win like that last year,

A trophy is a trophy. ;) And you've got to take into account the nature of our exit - it was infuriating!

With revenue of that sort, you don't need Roman.

Liverpool weren't great. Just some individual brilliance from Coutinho, Suarez and some brilliant saves by Reina. That, and Wigan were awful. A slightly better team would have scored a few, because Wigan had some very decent chances, despite playing poorly.
