Oh not Anelka. What a poncy, whingey, sulky girl of a footballer he is.

That's why he's nicknamed "Le Sulk".

Arsenal need a lead man like Samuel Eto'o who will whack in twenty or thirty goals a season - there's always the problem of foreigners adapating to the Premiership though, e.g. Andriy Shevchenko.

Damn right, thank God those rumours about Utd buying him were untrue!
On the subject of transfers, Becks should come back to Utd on loan during ML Off season!

No, he shouldn't. Because he wouldn't want to, and he shouldn't be able to get into your side frankly.

Anelka is a brilliant Footballer, when he wants to be. If you keep Nicolas happy, he has been and can be, one of the best in the world, easily. It's just incredibly hard to keep him happy enough to perform.

Have people forgotten what he was like at Arsenal. A brilliant striker albeit with a bad attitude. We haven't heard too much bad press about him lately though.

That's right, it is very tough. Having said that, if anyone could tame him, Sir Alex could!

He could be a real asset if one can do something about his nature. Imo he is just the kind of man Arsenal needs upfront. The amount of shots that Adebayor missed last season was appalling.

Anelka could be the best player in the world but that means sod all to me seeing as he is completely devoid of passion and commitment to a club. He's a disgrace to any team he plays for. I'd take a Conference level striker over him any day because he'd put in his every ounce of blood, sweat and tears for his club unlike Anelka. Enough said.

I'd take Dirk Kuyt over most striker these days. Just because he puts in so much hard work. He's always running, so long as he gets a decent partner to run onto and for, then the Liverpool attack could be formindable.
