Wow, never knew that, that's an amazing week then.

First team is still crap though :thumbs

At times this season I've thought that myself, but the majority of our squad will be staying for next season and you know why? Because they're Premier League quality!

Ruddy, Martin, Bassong, Turner, Garrido, Hoolahan, Pilkington, Snodgrass and Howson are all very good players and they'll form the major part of the squad that will be added to rather than overhauled in the summer.

RvW will be such a bargain for you guys at 10mE. Scored a brace yesterday on his Sporting farewell.

Chelsea why u send Lukaku on loan, what a player he is and what a comeback by West Brom.I am sad because SAF failed to win his last ever match

all these loans chelsea have going on are dangerous.

courtois and lukaku seem like major talents, but they're hardly feeling valued at chelsea are they? Curtois has already hinted he'd like to leave, lukaku isn't going to be far behind.

Not to mention Kevin de Bruyne. Single handedly eased Bremen's relegation fears this season. Also note that the aforementioned three are all Belgians...

Yeah that's it. Chelsea hate Belgians.

They probably thought they could buy some time by sending them out on loan when they were young. I mean, Lukaku only turned 20 a week ago. de Bruyne is 22 next month and Courtois was 21 last week as well. They've developed so quickly that they will want to play first team football.

Dangerous? I'd say they have worked out well.

3 promising players not ready to play for the first team have got valuable experience and played well at higher levels than reserve football.

If they do leave it will be for higher fees than if they rotted away for a year, if they don't they are better players than they would have been rotting away for a year. It's basically no lose for chelsea.

I honestly can't really see how it'd backfire. if they still aren't good enough to play for chelsea then they wouldn't have reached that level any other way.

I suppose you're right, I kinda meant that identifying those players they are risking pushing them out the door a bit. if they do want to leave chelsea will still take less money as their unhappiness and wish to move will drive the price down.

but yes, all in all, I guess they've covered their bases pretty well and signing them will at least pay off in some way.

Ethically it's not that great though, is it?

They've stockpiled a lot of young talent on their books that could be developed properly at their old clubs rather than be poached, loaned out and more than likely sold later on, like Matic, Sturridge, Borini and countless others.

Big clubs do it a lot but Chelsea are by far the worst offenders.

Ethically it's perfectly fine. They are just trying to be a successful club in the long and short-terms. Signing promoising young players is a part of their strategy for doing so.

Ethics in football? Since when... :rolleyes
