This may be controversial but if you look at his record Benitez is doing a better job at Chelsea than most of their recent managers.
They're comfortably in a Champions League spot; still in Europe (albeit the Europa League but wasn't RB who got them knocked out to start with) and still in the FA Cup.

Chelsea fans are idiots...

Still reckon the horror Roy Keane tackle on Alf-Inge Haaland was worst that that.

I feel sick to my stomach having watched it live and then seen it again there. I agree with Martinez though. I don't think it was done on purpose, the fact that McManaman was pretty much crying when he was taken off shows that. It was just a moment of madness!

My massive issue is with the officials in that match. I'm sorry but I could go watch a Sunday league match and see better officials at work. The number of mistakes Premier League referee's make, week in, week out is totally unacceptable. If you or me went into work and made as many bad decisions and mis-judgements as these guys do, we'd be out of a job! Not only not sending off McManaman, but the fact the 2nd goal was a handball as well.... :noway

I can only hope Haidara can come back soon for us and there is no lasting damage. He has a great future and is a really talented youngster and I hope McManaman gets a lengthy ban as a result.

People saying it's worse than the Keane tackle are going a little over the top mind. Didn't Keane all but admit to deliberately trying to end Haaland's career?

Finally! Someone with a(n alleged) grip on reality! Nowhere near as bad as Keane's!

Yeah, I agree. Whilst it was extremely bad, early reports suggest he should bounce back, plus McManaman was making his full debut...he was an over enthusiastic kid, not a thug like Keane.

I refute all claims of any grip on anything. It was dark. I wasn't there. I was just itching it.

You can't prove nuffink.
