There should more black managers around and it's obvious that there has been a problem. But the numbers have actually been increasing of late. progress is being made. Writing an article about it is stupid and using the sacking of a black manager who wasn't getting results isn't the way to go about it.
It's like John Barnes moaning about him not getting managerial posts. He managed celtic to 3rd place in the spl. he took over a mid-table tranmere side and nearly had them relegated by october they were that bad. He's clearly just a crap manager.
Chris hughton got the newcastle job without any previous managerial experience. That's a big job, if race was a huge issue there is no way he gets that job with no experience.

This time two months ago there were 3 black managers. but ince's blackpool were in freefall, powell's charlton bottom. can't really argue with either being sacked.
