I forgot about the Octopus. He was right again. Anyway the surprising thing is that FIFA has placed a news article about it.
There is a lot of funny news in the article, like the Germans who want to make him into sushi, the octopus receiving death-threat emails, the Spanish ministers calling for bodyguards and want to transfer him to Spain for his protection. :laugh
Also German people sang anti-octopus songs.
Anyway, we won't be hearing anything soon from this Octopus. He is 2.5 years old and Octopuses have a maximal life of 3 year.
Maybe we will find at Euro 2012 another Octopus.

Van Marwijk is critising Webb and rightfully so.
About the Heitinga's yellow cards: first one was given to a foul against Villa. But he waited a minute before he did it. :laugh And he was pretty close to the action when Heitinga kicked at the starts, so why he didn't give it then?
About his second yellow: in slow motion you could easily see that Iniesta went to dive just as Heitinga had a touch on his shoulder. And then were many defenders around Iniesta.
When Robben was loose and Puyol grabbed him from behind Webb didn't dare to give him yellow, because he knew that would be the end of Spain.
I didn't expect Spanish players to play like this, but I am guessing they were desperate to win and make fake attemps like diving and screaming in agony when someone touches them barely.
That being said: De Jong deserved a straight red card for his kick on the chest on Alonso. Only way to save it from a red card could be explained that both players were going for the ball. Otherwhile there is no excuse.
