Missed the first 20 minutes of the match so I couldn't see that part live. Was it a second yellow or a straight red? A straight red would be very harsh but I wouldn't complain if it was a second yellow.

Yep, It was over the top and looked like a stamp in real time (It wasn't but it was still no where near the ball). RED card was a fair punishment.

I'd rather take Anton Ferdinand to the world cup because he appears to be more mentally sound than Sol. I think sol is still a good defender, but past his best.
