Not known yet but it is believed to be around 18 million pounds. And Calderon has mentioned that this could be Madrid's only signing of the summer (we signed Garay as well but he will spend another year, on loan, at Racing).

But people still believe the Ronaldo transfer is on.

As far as I am concerned, I am glad we've signed VDV especially since Sneijder is out for 3 months. Ronaldo would not solve that problem.

A good source claims that the 'experienced' midfielder Arsene Wenger promised to bring in will sign in the next few days. Reports speculate that the proposed target is a 13 year old Afghani playmaker who is indeed 'experienced' at Under 15's Kabul Kup level where his team finished 3rd.
