Interesting idea but you can't drop Van Persie and they won't drop Adebayor. Denilson could definitely handle that position though. He doesn't get enough credit to be honest. He does do a lot of work that goes unnoticed.

I assume they are all seen as back-ups. Worth noting that we have only one recognised right winger in Robben, who often plays on the left. The only other option we have is Castilla lad, Palanca.

Deadline day is brilliant.

• Andrei Arshavin will not sign for Arsenal because the club can't afford him. Arshavin is apparently on his way to a London airport with the intention of returning to Russia.
• Robbie Keane could be moving back to Tottenham from Liverpool. Liverpool wanted Arron Lennon to accept the move, but Tottenham have lodged a cash bid, which Liverpool will respond to by 12.00pm.
• Alan Gow, the Rangers stiker, has moved on loan to Norwich until the end of the season.
• Christian Panucci will stay at Roma, despite claims he could move to Hull.
• Manchester City striker Jo is in the process of completing a loan move to Everton.

Looks like Bayern have got Tymoschuk for next season. Good signing then, and probably would have costed a lot more if it was an immediate transfer, and the player would be ineligible to play in the CL as well.

Also good to see Oliveira back in the top flight. Not really a fan of the Andalusians, but always rated him highly. 9 million I think is what Betis are paying.

There is now a rumour that Quaresma could be moving to Tottenham in a swap deal with Jermaine Jenas. Jose Mourinho is so unsatisfied with Quaresma he has not included him in Inter Milan's Champions League squad for the rest of the season. Mourinho is reportedly very interested in Jenas, and could use Quaresma to make it happen.

Now Quaresma has been rubbish for sure. Really bad, but so have Inter as a whole off late. Lacklustre performances, very un-Mourinho like. Jenas most probably will be backup, because I dont see him worthy enough of playing for Inter.

LOL. No chance of that. We have a small enough squad as it is, and Joleon and Jags have been immense in the past few months, there's no chance of Lescott leaving, well not unless Moyes is an idiot anyway, or we get an immensely high transfer fee for him, Moyes would need to have a replacement ready to come in as well.
